I traveled nearly 2 hours for my new truck purchase and I wasn't disappointed. Not only was Van Horn's price better than anything closer to my house, but they took two trade-ins...one without even seeing it wasn't disappointed. My internet questions were answered as fast as any business I have ever dealt with, and if one person wasn't available to respond, someone else did. The most awesome part of all? When I went back with my second vehicle two days after my purchase, sales manager Fred not only had a few items they found on the visor of my first trade, but also $260 that they found under the seat! I had hidden the money under there on a recent vacation and had totally forgotten about it. Honesty like this is all too rare these days, and I for one am very appreciative of the kind of folks that are employed by Joe Van Horn Chevrolet! More

I told Carl I would be there around one so I could take the car for a test drive. Which was really cool of him because all the cars on lot were covered in ice and he had it inside. They made everything simple for me and answered any question I had. Carl even offered to come in on a day off it was easier for me since I live an hour and half away which was very thoughtful. During my purchasing experience at Van Horn Chevrolet I was extremely pleased, for the most part! I found the car I was interested in online and the following day I went in to test drive it. I worked with Jason Hendrikse and he was very helpful. He answered all of the questions I was concerned about. He allowed me to take the car to my mechanic, who I know and trust. I returned the following evening with my dad to purchase the car. Jason was extremely friendly the entire time. My dad asked if there was any type of warranty if my car would "blow up" on the way home. He was obviously exaggerating. Jason assured us that we would not have to worry. He said "We have been in business for 50 years and even tho there is no written warranty we stand behind our costumers!" He also dropped the price of the car an additional $1,000. I was more than pleased when I left the dealership. To say the least, I couldn't be happier. Although on my way home this changed. On my way home my windshield cracked, about 12 inches. It was not hit by a stone, I did not go over a bump, it simply cracked. I live very close to the dealership, and since it was late on a Friday night I called immediately and explained what had happened to Jason. He said he would check with the mechanic in the morning and get back to me. I never heard from him. My dad called him the following week and got the same response from Jason. We never heard back from him. If there was nothing they could do for me that would have been fine but it would have been nice to have gotten a phone call. Other than this one issue I was very happy with my experience at Van Horn Chevrolet. More

I was searching for a used vehicle and Van Horn Chevrolet had the one I was looking for. I contacted them and made an appointment to look at one of the vehicles.
