Very good experience. They found a car with the options I was looking for. They gave fair deal for my trade in and found the financing I could agree on. WORST car buying experience ever! The customer service here stinks!! They showed us a clean carfax and shortly after leaving the dealer we were already having issues with the vehicle. Upon further research we found out the car had been in a frontal collision. Why was this not diclosed to us?? I have called back several times and they just gve me the run around from 1 person to another. This is a sick business and the employees do not take responsibility for their actions. I have yet to hear back from someone even though they keep saying they will call me. Absolutely no follow up with the customer - ME. I will never buy a car here again or recommend it to anyone I know. More
I have bought 9 cars in the last 20 years and this was BY FAR the worst experience I have ever had! In all the emails I got from this dealer they claim that "customer satisfaction is their top priority" but FAR the worst experience I have ever had! In all the emails I got from this dealer they claim that "customer satisfaction is their top priority" but actually they did very little to deliver any customer satisfaction. My salesman had little to no knowledge about the vehicle I was inquiring about and would not show me a Carfax UNLESS I came to the dealership. I have never had that happen to me before. I live 8 hours away and the idea of driving 600 miles just to see the Carfax is absolutely ABSURD!!! Is this practice even legal?? Dealing with the sales managers was a whole other nightmare. I was getting the runaround and no one would give me a straight answer to a simple question. I have never dealt with people so rude, unprofessional and DISHONEST. You hear about shady dealers with unethical sales tactics - well Joe Van Horn Chevrolet is icing on the cake! I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. They sell a bunch of lemons and falsely represent their products! The employees have zero customer service and would rob you blind! BUYER BEWARE More

The "customer service" stops as soon as you sign Bought a 2012 SUV with less than 20,000 miles Might seem like a bargain, but BUYERS BEWARE!!! The "customer service" stops as soon as you sign the purchase agreement! 1. $300 service fee - according to the salesmen, charged on all vehicles that they sell to do a 100+ point inspection to make sure everything is properly working and top off all fluids. Things that they should have taken care of: - all the window shield wiper blades were junk, one didn't have a blade at all, one half the blade was hanging loose the first time I used it. - tried to use the windshield washer fluid (froze instantly to the windshield with a temperature of 25 degrees) must have been water!!! - Either didn't do the oil change or didn't reset the oil usage monitor on the car - Only put a half tank of gas in the car!!! (Even after I told them they need to provide a full tank of gas and I drove 1 1/2 hrs to go there) - Originally when I looked at the car the service fee was 250, after going back and forth on the price I find in the final paperwork that they raised the service fee $50! Wouldn't reduce the final price the $50, I should have just left. 2. Second set of keys- After we sign off on everything and are getting ready to leave the salesman tells me that they don't have a second set of keys. I told him that this was part of the deal and he said that it wasn't a problem and he would order another set and sent it to me within the next month. Two months since the purchase still haven't received the keys and when I call and leave a message he never calls back! 3. XM Radio - During the test drive the salesman told us we would get XM radio for free for 3 months after purchase. Then after we had signed all the paperwork I asked him about that and he said that he would try and call them in the next couple weeks, otherwise we should just call and set it up. After a month without the XM working I called to try and set it up, but XM said they needed some info from the dealer to set it up. 2 months later still no XM! 4. Received a letter a couple weeks later thanking us for our purchase and asking for referrals. They listed a different vehicle in the letter than what I purchased! After getting the car home there were several little things like scratches, rips in leather, and a large crack in the spare tire cover for the cargo area that had been "hidden" I recently checked out Google reviews and saw posts of several lawsuits that are being filed against them for selling lemon cars! I would never go to this dealership again, even if they were giving free cars away! More

I had been looking for a month to buy a new car and just not impressed with the car dealers. The last car dealer I went to before Joe Van Horn treated me terrible. When I walked into the Van Horn dealership, Evan met me at the door and was very, very, nice. I told him what I was looking for and he got it for me. No hassles. I have always bought my cars in Fond du lac but starting now I will be buying my cars from Evan at Van Horn Chevy. He made me feel like he really cared about what I wanted and came through for me on pricing. I would recommend Evan at Van Horn Chevy to anyone who is looking for a car. I will go back to him when it is time for me to buy again. Thanks Evan for all your help! You were great! We love our Cruze!! More

I set an appointment to come test drive and bought the same day. Wayne was professional, friendly, and polite. He wasn't pushy at all about the sale and I was very happy with how things worked out. I had a good experience buying my Equinox from Wayne at Joe Van Horn Chevy and would consider coming back in the future to buy my son's car. I have already made recommendations to friends and coworkers. Wayne does what he says he will and I feel that he will make sure I am taken care of in the future if I were to have any problems. More
We purchased a used 2010 Traverse yesterday from Van Horn Chevy in Plymouth. The finance department was also above and beyond what I expected, even though it took a little bit longer than expected, they did get us a great rate and loan when our credit is considered poor. They were all very nice and kind and kept us updated on what was going on. In short, we will be returning here for our next vehicle, and the next and the next! We have also already told friends and family GO TO VAN HORN as they admired our awesome decked out Traverse last night. Very happy customers here in Van Dyne! More
