We had a very positive experience overall with Van, from the initial introduction through completing the purchase in the business office. The salesperson we worked with was Jamey Bentley. Jamey was very professional, respectful and friendly. He helped make the entire process smooth, simple, quick and pleasant. Jamey was great to work with and I wouldn't hesitate to refer any of my friends or family to him when looking to purchase a vehicle. More
Will never buy from Van Dealerships again I actually went thru the State Attorney General's office with specific complaints. We had a pre-approved interest rate with our Credit Union, but it I actually went thru the State Attorney General's office with specific complaints. We had a pre-approved interest rate with our Credit Union, but it didn't happen with the initial sales. We initially refused the extended warranty, only to be told we would get a better interest rate if we took it (which was said in an office that we were advised the transaction was video and audio taped). We added the sales tax to the loan, which Kansas Dept of Revenue allows, however the sales manager did not write up the contract indicating that detail. My local Dept of Revenue had me go back to the sales manager to ask him to break down the vehicle cost specificially so we would not have to pay sales tax on THAT part of the loan, but the sales manager refused to do so, and we ended up paying sales tax on approximately $2000 we wouldn't have otherwise. The window sticker (and our opinion - the salesman), gave us the impression there were options that were supposedly on the vehicle, which we later discovered were not on the vehicle. We were not given all the paperwork regarding the extended warranty, and I subsequently had to return to the dealership to get all the pages, that had instructions on how to cancel it, which I summarily did, waiting approximately 3 months for it to be credited off the loan. We had to refinance thru out credit with the much lower interest rate we had prearranged with our credit union before the actual sale happened, with the credit union affirming we were not given correct information by the sales manager. Although Van Chevrolet did cooperate in communicating with the Missouri Attorney General's office, it took nearly a year for a resolution. Ultimately the Attorney General's office arranged a settlement and we got $150. In my opinion, not nearly enough for what we went through. I will never do business with Van Chevrolet or any of their affiliated dealerships again. More
Terrible customer service I have been a customer of Van Chevy many times over the years. It is located a few blocks from my home, so even though the service has usually been po I have been a customer of Van Chevy many times over the years. It is located a few blocks from my home, so even though the service has usually been poor to substandard, I'd gone back. But I will never go back. Scheduled today's appointment two weeks in advance and they weren't even going to be able to get to my car today. I had a service air bag light and a heating/cooling fan damper problem. They suggested I leave it and RENT A CAR!!!! They hadn't even run diagnostics by 1:30, I left it at 8:15 am. When I went to pick up my car no one came to talk to me about my dissatisfaction. In fact, they all acted like I had the plague. I wasn't irate or rude or yelling. I told them I was dissatisfied and would never come back. And my goal is to share that message with as many people as I can. More

Today though, we were told it would be $1350.00 for this latest repair, and they wouldn't warranty it. We have only put 2700. miles on this car and its been broken 4 times. We traded in a car with 300k miles that did not have any of these issues. A good dealership would warranty this issue seeing how we have had nothing but issues since literally the day after we drove it home. More

Van Autoplex..Deceptive,Unethical,Unscrupulous,Shady. Van Chevrolet-Cadillac, AKA: Van Autoplex of Kansas City. My wife purchased a vehicle there and was subjected to their "SPOT DELIVERY SCAM" She was Van Chevrolet-Cadillac, AKA: Van Autoplex of Kansas City. My wife purchased a vehicle there and was subjected to their "SPOT DELIVERY SCAM" She was later scammed again in financing by Adam Fanning. He insisted that she purchase a service contract (6 mos./6000) even though the vehicle came with one (3mos./3000). She DECLINED all Service, Gap Coverage, Life Ins. etc. Adam however, felt it necessary to deceptively and unscrupulously add it into her contract! The Dealership refuses to honor their "We Owe" list and a host of other problems. After ignoring and dismissing her for days ,Van Auto-Plex finally returned a simple call. Blake E. Fanning- General Manager, was unprofessional, disrespectful, and conniving when speaking. He was angry that we caught his son's deception. He had the gall to call US xxxxxxxx for wanting the situation rectified. We continue to be told lie after lie. BUY A CAR ELSEWHERE THIS PLACE WILL STEAL FROM IT'S CUSTOMERS IF GIVEN A CHANCE!!!! More
