What a poor experience I had at dealership today when I took my car in for vibration issues. I was told the tires have flat spots because I don't drive my car enough. From viewing to negotiations to finance was Good experience.. gentleman had attitude when we turned down extended warranty and gap insurance. Such a waste of our time, test drove two new trucks both were dirty, offered us over $3000 less than we had been offer from any other dealer, plus drug the whole process out for hours! Our credit rating is were dirty, offered us over $3000 less than we had been offer from any other dealer, plus drug the whole process out for hours! Our credit rating is in 800s and they couldn’t get us a good interest rate! We left and will patiently wait till others dealers get truck in we want. More
Where do I start? Purchased a vehicle and added the MPP extended warranty plan. First time I took it in for an oil change, tire rotation and a recall. Recall got done, oil change got done but tire rotation extended warranty plan. First time I took it in for an oil change, tire rotation and a recall. Got home and realized that tires in fact do not get rotated because I hit curb at ATM prior to dropping off car and that tire is in the same place. Looked up at next oil change is due at 679,998?? Wth my car had not 60,000 or 70,000 miles on it so what happened there.went back up and they rotated tires and fixed sticker Went up another time and an oil change took almost 3 hours, kept telling me they are running behind and I had the first appointment of the day? Another appointment I took car in for blind spot indicator mirror out, took weeks to get part in. Finally go get car and engine light came on? They didn’t reattach some vacuum hose Took it in about 6 months ago for an air bag light/seat belt light, took a few days , not bad. Said something about a recall of seats and airbags Another appt. took in for normal oils change, tire rotation since included in MPP extended plan and tried to charge me for balance. I said, I never pay for rotation, it’s included in my MPP. He said that’s only rotation. He said well we balanced them. I said I don’t ask you to balance and I’m not paying. He then told me that his tech would not get paid now since I didn’t pay. As I’m writing this my vehicle is at Van service dept for the same airbag/seatbelt light. They just called to tell me that it’s covered under the MPP plan I have. Well you should cover even if I didn’t have plan because you said you replaced those parts 6 months ago. And also I have a right blinker out? My blinker was working fine when I drove car in? I had that bulb replaced not too long ago? They are always trying to add or charge for something extra. If I hadn’t purchased mY MPP extended plan through them when purchasing the vehicle I would have never gone back. Now I’m wanting to purchase another car. I’ve always remained loyal to Chevy but I can’t do it again. When I purchased my car that day there was a man out picketing I should’ve followed my instincts that day and purchased my car somewhere else. Do not go here and purchase a car or have it serviced here. I’m not the one to call someplace a Scam , but this place, thanks for reading, hope this helps someone else!! More
The service department is a joke. Took my vehicle in on a Thursday, they didn't touch it till Monday, the service guy Malik Yousif was very unprofessional, attitude and no communication is what I recieved. They didn't keep me up to date on anything until I called him out on having to call and get my own checkup from time to time. Not only was I told that they couldn't do a loaner car and this is after my car almost being down a week but when I finally got one charged me $1000.00 deductible because they found a scratch on the hubcap which I don't pay attention on those details on walk around so that was my fault. This is the 2nd time in less than 4 months that I had to bring the vehicle back for same exact issues on why I had it repaired in the first place which was well in the $2000.00 range to have fixed. I will never recommend or use this place if I don't have to however since they were to fix it the first time I had to bring it back for them to correct it. The lack of the service department coordinating what they were doing and the attitude I received let alone the thousands I was out of has me not even looking their way if I was ever needed service or work done with them. I will take my chances elsewhere More
My wife and I have had a very long stressful frustrating experience after purchasing a supposed “certified pre-owned“ 2019 platinum Cadillac Escalade from Van Chevrolet Cadillac dealership. After owning th experience after purchasing a supposed “certified pre-owned“ 2019 platinum Cadillac Escalade from Van Chevrolet Cadillac dealership. After owning this vehicle for only 3 days we’ve had major issues with it.! The remote start and on star app start has been intermittent from the beginning. On the 3rd day while 5hrs away from our house out of town the vehicle wouldn’t work at all.! I put fuel and it turned on fine, then parked to go inside the store and when we walked out to leave I attempted the remote start that haven’t been working as it should. At No surprise it did NOT work. So I opened the door and noticed the radio and instrument display did NOT load as it should have. I pressed the start button, sounded like it turned on, but I noticed the instrument and radio still didn’t turn on... so I started pressing buttons on the radio then finally it loaded “slowly.” At this point I had a check engine and stability track light illuminated, and also a warning that my steering assist is reduced, see dealership. Then I wasn’t able to turn the steering wheel at all, rev the engine, or move forward in drive or backwards in reverse. So I attempted to restart the vehicle multiple times, in attempts to remedy the problem enough to get back to our hotel 2hrs away from where we were. All failed, so then I pressed the Onstar button. I talked with one of their representatives to discuss my very unfortunate situation!! It was Labor Day weekend, after 6pm, no vehicle rental places Open, no dealerships close enough to get too before they close... worst time and place for this to happen! Onstar performed a basic diagnostics check on the vehicle. After being towed back towards our hotel I disconnected and reconnected the battery to reset the codes. Then was able to drive it back to our hotel. Next morning We drove Towards home and Had a blow out from a nail that was in the tire from delivery.! So even more misery to our experience!!!! Finally on Tuesday we started dealing with our Texas dealership Ron Carter on fixing this issue that has originated with Van Chevrolet Cadillac dealership!!!! I’m getting zero help since the issue can magically not be duplicated now.! Remote start still is intermittent... and even though Ron Carters service supervisor has witnessed it himself, I’m told I pretty much have to deal with it until it gets worse!!!! Now after this same supervisor has done some digging with Van Chevrolet Cadillac dealership. Come to find out the previous owner was having the exact same issues.!!!! How is it even possible for Van Chevrolet Cadillac to sell it as a “CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED” with known issues?!?!? It’s been back and forth in the shop multiple times since the Tuesday after Labor Day.
