First off, when Chevrolet announced the return of the Camaro for 2010 and I saw the body style, I liked it right off then I researched the car through Chevrolet's web site looked at all the features and Camaro for 2010 and I saw the body style, I liked it right off then I researched the car through Chevrolet's web site looked at all the features and standard equipment along with the optional equipment, I new then I loved it and knew I wanted one for myself, so when I knew I was gonna be in a position to buy one, I checked with 2 other Chevy dealers in the area they didn't have many to look at and didn't have the color I wanted that's when I went to Van Chevrolet Cadillac, when I pulled in and saw that they had 6 Camaro's right out front in several models and colors, including the model and color I was looking for, right off I knew I was at the right place, I was greeted promptly by Tim Barney he introduced himself with a hand shake and a smile, asked if he could help me, I told him what I was looking for, he asked specific questions as to what features I was looking for, I told him I wanted the LT 2 with the RS package, he said I'm sure we have what you want, we walked over to the Camaro's, of course I walked up to the one with the color I wanted (red) and I was surprised, it was the model I wanted as well, he pointed out the RS specific features and equipment, he asked if I wanted to take it for a test drive, he didn't have to ask twice, YES !!! the handling and performance was all right there, I knew I wanted that car, although it was a little more then 2 months before I was actually ready to buy it, I knew that I would still be going back to Van for my Camaro, I called Tim and he still remembered me and we scheduled a time for the next day for me to go in and make the deal, the fact that that same 2010 red RS was still there told me it was meant to be mine, I got what I think was a great price and I even opted for a couple of extended protection plans that were available and in no time I was driving off the lot in my new 2010 Chevy Camaro RS, everyone from Tim Barney to Justin the sale's manager and Keven the finance manager were very friendly, very professional and had a wealth of knowledge and understanding both for what I wanted and about the Camaro RS, the negotiation of price and the various extend plans that were available right down to the papers that were needed to finalize the sale, in closing I feel I got a great deal on the exact Camaro RS I wanted. More
The dealership is staffed with friendly and knowledgeable employees. The staff took great care to make sure that all of the vehicles features were explained clearly. In March 2010 I purchased a new Subaru Outback but kept my 1997 Subaru Outback for my wife to use when transporting her Mother. Access was easier. Last month when it shot craps and I needed a inexpensive replacement, I asked Mongo for his help. I had been extreemly satisfied with his help in the purchase of the new Outback. He immediately came up with 3 vehicles for my wife to look at. She fell in love with his #1 recommendation, a 2005 VW Jetta, which we purchased. Mongo, Fred and the rest of the staff at Van Subaru have acted more like family assisting me to find the best solution to my problem rather that an auto dealership trying to rapidly move cars and make money. There are many places to buy an automobile, but very few that take the time and expend the effort to assist the buyer in finding the best purchase for his needs and budget. Because of this, future purchases will be from Van Subaru, assuming they have or can find what I need. Additionally, I will be recommending them any chance I get!! More

We had been looking for 4 months for a new car. We looked around at other dealerships and not one of them really wanted to work with us. But Johnny Phillips and Tim Barney did everything in their power to wo around at other dealerships and not one of them really wanted to work with us. But Johnny Phillips and Tim Barney did everything in their power to work with us and get to us to our price. I was very happy with the friendliness of all staff members. I feel like we are family or long friends. I am pleased to say that I would send anyone that I know looking for a new or used car to Vans and talk to them. I had other business that was VERY important to attend to that day so they set me up in a cubicle with a telephone and allowed me to make my phone call, they gave me privacy and I was able to get the truck worked on AND get my other business done at the same time. I loved it. I will NEVER take my vehicles to any other dealership and will also be looking for my next vehicle through VAN Chevrolet !!!!!! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to voice my opinion about my dealing with the dealership, plenty of people will call in and complain when they aren't happy over the most minor thing, however, I always try to let management know when I've been done right.
