After a short wait, received the part price quote and was told inspection would only take a short while longer. Wait...wait...wait... Just as I prepared to ask about the delay, service writer came out to apologize, saying all of their systems had gone down causing the delay and that there would be no charge for the inspection. Not a great $$ cost for the dealership but such a fine gesture to retain a return customer (this location and also Van Bortel Subaru in Victor, NY) and to prompt me to share the story w/ friends. We test drove numerous vehicles and in the end we felt the Subaru Forester met our needs most completely. So far we are pleased with the touring version, but there is a lot of Technology to get familiar with. The only issue we've had was one day the radio wouldn't come on for a few hours. Suddenly it worked. It may have been doing one of the upgrades. We'll see if this happens again and pursue service if it does. More

Amy, my sales representative was pleasant, helpful and patient. Once decided on the Outback, I was given adequate instruction on the electronics. Although I am still learning, I find the car a joy to drive and love seeing the "purple butterfly" saying hello to me when I start up. I feel we are a team. I had an airbag recall that got serviced in the time that I hoped it would; however- not the dealership, but Subaru itself should allow for more proje I had an airbag recall that got serviced in the time that I hoped it would; however- not the dealership, but Subaru itself should allow for more projected time in the letter they send out to their customers as to how much time it should take.to complete the work for the recall. It makes a difference as to whether the consumer can just wait for the repair (which is what I did) or they have to get a loaner for the day. More

It should also be noted that I had a message on my recorder at home from Van Bortel Subaru that my Subaru Link software notified them that my oil was low an to make arrangements to bring in the car!
