This didn't stop with the actual purchase date; as, he failed to get me all of my copies of the finance and purchase paperwork on two additional trips to the dealership to finalize this purchase. Be sure to check over the vehicle thoroughly - mine had wipers that were literally falling off the 'blades'. Though, I will say, having them fix those minor things before leaving was no issue at all! And the service section was a pleasure to work with - both at purchase time, and at my first oil change. Over all, it was a typical car-buying experience. I did not enjoy any of my interactions with Rick; however, the sales person and service department were good. I did leave with a car that I am in love with (still...4 months later), and with a very reasonable deal. But I will warn, that they ask you to fill out these reasons before leaving their showroom, so the reactions are a little biased. ;-) More

I had a collision with a deer, the night before, and had my Kia brought to the dealer for repairs, as this dealer is the ONLY local Kia Dealer. I was horribly distraught with the pending results of having my Kia brought to the dealer for repairs, as this dealer is the ONLY local Kia Dealer. I was horribly distraught with the pending results of having my 1 year old vehicle repaired. So, I sought out Rod Pratt, for other options and more satisfactory solution. I originally wanted to find a (New) exact replacement for my current vehicle a 2011 Kia Sportage EX AWD which was purchased out of state. Rod was unable to locate a comparable model, so I considered other options. I ended up settling for a Dealer Demo (Rod Pratt's demo, in fact,) as a way to avoid the frustration of the repair process. I feel the price was rather high, for a Used New Pickup with some minor damage, however Rod Pratt's customer service was, and always has been, Excellent. The sales person Cliff Howard had average customer service, and I consider Average to be the same level I have received from most other dealers. So, I chose a rating between the two. I do feel that Rod went above and beyond to secure financing, and complete the deal. I was very pleased with Rod's generosity in lending me one of his personal items which he had in the pickup, (a rubber bed mat), and also donating a receiver hitch to make my New Pickup ready for use the next morning. I do feel that Dick Edwards Auto Plaza does have a better than most rating for ease of purchase, and time involved in purchasing a vehicle. More
