Valley Motor City responded

Customer was in 6/27/2015 for headlamp repairs – INSPECTED VEHICLE AND VERIFIED CONCERN. FOUND THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH TO BE FAULTY. INSTALLED NEW SWITCH. LIGHTS WORKED BRIEFLY. INSPECTED AND FOUND THE AFTER MARKET ARROW TURN SIGNALS MOUNTED ON THE MIRRORS TO BE TAPPED INTO THE HEADLIGHT CIRCUIT AND KILLING THE CIRCUIT. REMOVED THE ARROWS FROM THE CIRCUIT AND THE HEADLIGHTS WORKED. Customer came in on 9/18/2015 and was told the TIPM needed replaced, customer declined repairs. Vehicle was in for oil change in September and no headlight issues were noted on repair orders. Customer called on 10/10/2015 requesting receipts for services performed. We would be happy to, and offered, to further diagnosis any issues with the headlights, but the customer declined, stating they would take elsewhere. Within that dialogue we request customer refrain from using profanity.

I apologize the customer was unhappy with his experience at the dealership. Unfortunately we cannot always come to terms on a deal, as was the case on this particular vehicle. Every customer has certain parameters they wish to stay within on every transaction they pursue. Every preowned vehicle has different wholesale, book, auction, and retail price points, as well as condition, turn rates, and investment to be considered by the selling dealership. Sometimes the thoughts of the buyer and seller do not align in daily business transactions. We wish the customer the best of luck in finding the vehicle that suits their needs, regardless of it is ours or not.
