I spoke with Steve Dargen and scheduled time for my 19yr old NDSU student to test drive a few VWs, since I wouldn't be there until the following day. Steve was very accommodating and treated my young son on his first car buying experience with great professionalism. When we came back the next day, everything was ready for us, making for a very smooth worry free transaction. We were given a fair value for the 19yr old's trade-in. Considering we do not live in Fargo, based on our experience we will certainly be traveling the Valley Imports to do business again. More

I can say unequivocally that my experience at Valley Imports was top notch from start to finish. Every last staff member with whom I interacted was friendly and helpful, and they were able to get me the car I wanted, when I wanted it. I worked primarily with Tana, and she was awesome. I could tell she really cared about these cars, and she knew so much about them. This went beyond memorizing a car's stat sheet or being able to recite the owner's manual. She knows these cars. I also spent some time with Matt at the end of the experience, and he made the entire paperwork and financial process easy to understand, easy to complete, and completely pressure-free. He clearly explained all of the options and their implications, and when asked, he also provided his personal opinion on various options and how well they might fit me. Being able to speak freely during these meetings, and being met with it in return, makes the entire experience so much better. Both Matt and Tana handled their roles with excellence. I saw a Valley Import commercial on TV not too long ago, and it talked about how things are just done differently there. After my experience, I can fully attest to this. 5/5, would shop again :) More

I emailed Valley Imports and said which vehicle I was interested in and that I lived three hours away. I got a call the next day in the morning from Erik Swenson answering some of my questions. He made the whole process work smoothly and was available right away when I needed questions answered. They also delivered the car promptly the day after we told Erik we wanted the vehicle. I highly recommend Valley Imports if you’re looking for a new vehicle and Erik was a great salesman! He was very upfront and very pleasant. We strolled in one day, exhausted from the high pressure tactics of a neighboring lot and met Thomas. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and absolutely no pressure. After a couple of weeks of his calling us (at our request) with cars we might be interested in and taking us on multiple drives of multiple models, we actually found the perfect car at another lot. We were so close to a RAV4 with Valley but the perfect Outlander fell into our hands on the same day: Thomas was the person who introduced us to the Outlander; he just didn't have on within our budget. When I called to tell him, he wasn't bummed out at all -- he congratulated us on finding something to suit our needs. It was refreshing to have a salesperson more interested in making a suited match than a sale. I also had a great conversation with Bob in the pre-owned lot checking outa couple of other options. That guy knows cars and has sold so many he doesn't even need to sell one to you (but he will, because he's good). There's nothing here that would stop Valley from being our first stop next time we need a new car. Stop by and see Thomas or Bob, they'll set you up right. More
