I cold-called Honda to confirm a lease special, and not only did he give me a straightforward answer (without the obligatory laps around the track to size me up), but he also sent me numbers that were absolutely spot-on when I leased a car later that night. A lot of salespeople operate on auto-pilot--Andy is an alert, conscientious professional. If he were a bartender, he'd not only memorize your drink but know the exact moment when to start the refill. Not a lot of people can hone their radar as well he can. He made this deal happen with his character--and I had no problem whatsoever letting him lead me through it.
