They have failed us so many times. We have purchased three cars from them and the service department experience is the worst. I dread taking my car in for service. They have not contacted us to complete the order. This is the worst dealership I have ever used. There management still have not contacted about how they can complete our order that we is paid. More
Honestly at first I was ready to write a 5 star review for this dealer but I am giving them 1. I have had not 1 but 2 bad experiences to talk about. I think what has upset me the most is that I have sent for this dealer but I am giving them 1. I have had not 1 but 2 bad experiences to talk about. I think what has upset me the most is that I have sent 3 of my own clients out here to buy a Toyota rav 4 prime and had no issues whatsoever and I still recommend this dealer unless they pull what they did to me. I would recommend Longo Toyota if you truly want a car for retail with no issues. The first problem was around July of 2021. I was trying to buy a Toyota RAV4 prime XSE. I was being helped by Katherine. Kat was very helpful in the beginning but this took a turn for the worse. One thing I am very particular about is my credit. I do not let my credit run unless truly needed. I was assured that by running my credit, providing my drivers license, along with Al the other small things that was needed they would hold the car for me for 1 day. This is a bit of an inconvenience since the dealer is more than an hour away but in this car market I totally understand. Now what I don’t understand is that I was told that this blueprint RAV4 prime was reserved for me. When the car had arrived to the dealer I was contacted by kat letting me know that it was there. She called me around noon to let me know that the car had arrived though I was with some clients and unable to answer. I called her maybe an hour after and she told me she was going to get the car for me. She went to check on the car and called me back saying car was sold. After pulling my credit providing everything that was asked along with being told the car was reserved for me- Now you tell me that the car was sold to someone else! Luckily I didn’t make the drive all the way there. Now on to the what truly left a bad taste in my mouth. I had been contacted by a Michaela from valley hi letting me know that a RAV4 prime was available. I was very excited to give them a chance after my first mishap which I told them about. I was then working with Mina who was very helpful at first but service had took a turn especially with what I am going to say next… To make things worse, the salesman tried to pull a fast one on me. As you can see the net price that was offered to me was 48,836. I live in LA and my sales tax is 9.5% Purchase 48,386 Sales tax 9.5% about 4597 I’ll round up title fees to 1000 I would say it should have been about 54,000 but then I get an updated due of 57348.76… which didn’t make sense to me. Come to find out that there was an extended warranty thrown in there last minute for over 3k which I did not agree to. I would have been open to it if it was offered but Mina had told me that it was mandatory for this deal. When I had questioned him on it, I can tell he got nervous and I’m sure this is what caused me to lose my deal. What really set me off was that there was no follow up with Mina “talking to his fleet manager Rod”. I have yet to hear anything from anyone. ONCE AGAIN THEY HAD HELD THE CAR FOR ME, RAN MY CREDIT, PROVIDED ALL MY INFORMATION ONLY TO BE LEFT EMPTY HANDED ONCE AGAIN. More
Let me start off by saying I think people are taking the alarm system and vehicle protection they have installed on their vehicles as a "markup". An after market alarm that lets you monitor the car from your phone and vehicle protection. OVERALL my experience was EXCELLENT here. The management called me and explained everything to me and I feel 100% better and am glad I purchased my vehicle from my local Toyota dealer. I want to give a huge shout out to Frank, Ruth, and Samuel as they were both helpful and friendly. Ruth was going back and forth with me for awhile through email hunting for my Tacoma after I reached out to Frank through a friend. Ruth found the truck I wanted with pretty close to what I wanted installed on it. Ruth kept me up to date on the vehicle and it came in WAY sooner then expected. I was doing a trade in as well and I will say this dealer in general gives a good amount in comparison to carmax and carvana. Samuel was the one who went over my trade in with me got it accessed and ultimately worked with me when I was at the dealer buying the tacoma. Samuel was friendly and he actually engaged in conversation with you and answered all my questions and made the process at the dealer go VERY smooth. I also want to give a shout out to Ron in finance since while we were doing all the paperwork his enthusiasm about the process made it much less boring then just signing docs. I will be back here again for sure for all my service needs and if my wife somehow talks me into getting here a 4runner in Lunar rock to match my tacoma LOL More

Take the Tacoma! I never thought I would be in a place to get a new 2020 Tacoma! But it happened. We ran the numbers and my savings were amazing! The entire wheel of the vehicle came off and struck my mom's vehicle and totaled her vehicle and injured her. Valley-Hi has failed to provide fail compensation despite having a video confirmation of putting the wheels on the subject vehicle right before the incident occurred. This is poor service all around.
