This is their response: Hello sir, this is James with Valley Ford of Columbus. I was reaching out because we got your review and I wanted to apologize for any miscommunication. The reason we recommended the job for 6 hours versus the 1.4 you seen on Alldata is because Alldata only has the replacement of the part. Not the work to get to that part. To get to the Bank 1 VCT solenoid you have to remove the intake manifold and high pressure fuel lines just to get the valve cover off. Then once the valve cover is off we can access that Solenoid. I apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused and any misinformation we may have relayed. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.

Stay tuned but I think that’s the last we hear from them.

Hello James please email me the repair procedure? There should be no reason to take the intake off. Also you're telling me that Alldata is telling you how long it takes to replace the part and not the work getting to it? So it takes the tech 1.4 hours to take 2 bolts and unplug the solenoid?

Someone finally reach out after filing complaints here and on BBB and stated the parts are back order. So in a holding pattern until parts are available and damage is repaired.
