Horrible customer service and scam artist Good evening I am contacting you with hopes of getting justice. My usual advisor was out sick so someone by the name of Scott offered to help which at first he seemed friendly. He told me that before he could even give my car a diagnosis I would have to agree on buying a new battery because my power was dead. Once I agreed he stated he would call me back after he takes a look, which that never happened so after about 2hrs I called back and asked is he found out anything he then stated I needed to prepay another 250 dollars for a fuel diagnosis which I thought was odd so I simply asked him when would my regular advisor be back and then he just snapped on me yelling and threatening to rip out the battery that they had put in and putting my car outside. Yelling at me for no reason. I was totally violated and I have witnesses because my sons therapiest was at my house because my son has autism. I also taped the conversation once he started yelling and threatening to do things to my car. The next day I was called and told that they decided not to fix my car and that I needed to pick it up right away and that it would be parked outside. They had my car for 3 days mind u I have a disabled child and then god knows what they did to my car during that time. All I am asking for is justice because I had to pay to tow my car there and then pay to tow it back home and now I am without a car until I find another dealer that fixes Cadillacs. I have been a loyal customer never complaining about the costs and I am no where near rich. The only reason I haven't gone to the press and played the tapes conversation is because my regular advisor jim never did anything wrong he has always done me right but if someone doesn't make Scott accountable for his actions I will peruse this because no one I repeat no one deserves to be treated the way I was. We have a certification on our Escalade ESV which was verified by Mark and Jim 2 days after the purchase. They also looked at the front left wheel noise and did 2 or more times never finding the problem verified by Mark and Jim 2 days after the purchase. I purchased this truck used from another dealer who told me to go to Valley to assure the warranty is transferred. I did this immediately and was told the warranty follows the car not the owner by both Mark and Jim,. We had several warranty repairs done on this truck which were always covered. We were going on a 3K trip and knew we were close on our warranty mileage but was once again assured by two of the staff that our warranty was good until 78,500 miles or November 2014. However, in virginia on 12/6/13, the noise in the left front wheel finally broke and we were forced to stay overnight and wait for the Cadillac dealer to open the next day. They found the wheel bearings broke causing a series of other problems but they said it was all warranty work so we went ahead which resulted in a $1,660. bill. When this reputable dealer sent in the VIN he said the owner was not me and the warranty was actually never changed so we had to pay for the repair. We called Valley and they did nothing to help us. However, they did send in the warranty bills to the gm warranty and were paid under the previous owner on several occassions. The Virginia dealer said this is unethical and illegal to do business this way so we were stuck. We have remained stuck because this dealership will not back up their staff and their promised warranty obligation. We are in the process of filing claims with the BBB, GM and the attorney general. I have been posting this behaviour on the internet so others are not left hanging like us. They had their attorney call us and threaten us screaming. We can back up all of our information. Overall this dealership is unethical, unscrupulous, and should be avoided literally at all costs. Another point, my daughter and I were at this dealership this past fall having the lift gate arm fixed. The first and second visit resulted in a third and we live 2 1/2 hours round trip from this dealer. We were there over three hours and took coffee and biscotti outside to enjoy the fall day and to fill the boredom. I received a bill for $10. for items taken from the hospitality room. They need to change the name of this room to pay or get a bill in the mail room certainly not hospitality. Also, the radio broke and they put in a new one under this same warranty. When I picked it up the cd holder and the navigational dvd was missing. They did nothing but I did get some of them via mail without a note returned a couple of months later. We purchased 6 cadillacs and a hummer from this dealership and being treated this way is so frustrating. This cadillac family is now llooking at Fords now. More
This was bar none the best car buying experience I have ever had! Not only was the dealership beautiful and professional looking, but my salesman CJ Lore was top notch. There was no 'pushiness' and CJ Lo ever had! Not only was the dealership beautiful and professional looking, but my salesman CJ Lore was top notch. There was no 'pushiness' and CJ Lore met my every question with an open and honest answer. The whole process was quick and pain free. Unlike other dealerships where I walked out many hours later with a car but also a huge headache. Other staff members I dealt with were friendly and pleasant. The whole experience went as smooth as glass and I would highly recommend this dealership to all who ask...and possibly most who don't ask either. Overall a wonderful place to shop for a car!! More
CJ was very knowledgable about the car, he was able to answer all of our questions. He was really easy to get along with too, no pressure or games. I have only been a Valley customer for a few weeks, but they have really wowed me with their service. I have owned two BMW's and a Lexus, and now I own a Cadillac.
