I have used the Valenti Audi dealership for both sales and service over the past 10 years and have always been impressed by their excellent customer service. So when I needed to trade in our other car, a VW, I asked my friends at Audi to recommend a VW sales person. Matt Daubney exceeded my highest expectations. He was polite and courteous, patient and understanding as to our needs. We walked out of the dealership with a brand new car a couple of hours after we met Matt. He made it easy to do business with and made the experience at Valenti VW a very pleasant one. He even went above and beyond by picking up our new car from our house ( 25 miles away! ) and bringing it back, a day later, with the extras we needed installed. Matt Daubney is an awesome sales person! I will definitely go back to see him or recommended him to anyone who would appreciate the extraordinary customer service that Matt and the Valenti team provide! More
My experience at Valenti VW was without a doubt the best I have had when it comes to car dealerships, sales, and service. He quickly answered any questions I had, and was very quick and efficient when it came to finding the right vehicle for me. Steve, along with Matt and the rest of the Valenti team, took care of me from the moment I walked in to the moment I took possession of the key to my new Jetta SE. I have never had such a great experience with any car dealer in Connecticut. Matthew was very knowledgable about our car. He answered every question we thru at him. And believe me, we did our research before we got there. My husband had no intensions of getting a car that day, but I did. When we left to "talk about the car" my husband said I think we should get that car! I couldn't wait. I called Matthew back and told him we needed to look into some "other things" and he said take your time and let me know what you decide. No Pressure! After researching a little more, I decided I had to have that car. Within the next few days, Matthew was handing over the keys. This car has all the "Bells and Whistles" and I had no idea what half of them were, but Matthew was very patient with me and always took my calls and explained. He even met me half way when I got my new car mats. I truly cannot say enough about this guy, all I know is I look forward to buying my next car from Matthew Daubney at Valenti VW. i am sad to say i went to valente already owning a volkswagan and looking to trade for a new VW. i also will add since i've owned my VW i have had it serviced there every six months and just did my 40 volkswagan and looking to trade for a new VW. i also will add since i've owned my VW i have had it serviced there every six months and just did my 40,000 mile service check. when i went to look at a new car and see what i could get for my mine and told them what i wanted and what i wanted to pay, they basicly told me i needed to live within my means. first of all to make that assumption had to be the rudest comment i have ever gotten from someone. no one knows what the next person has or doesn't have. it wasn't that i couldn't afford the car i didn't want to have to pay more than a certain amount. needless to say, i left there with no car and absolutely no respect for valente!!! i might add as well, i just bought a brand new car from jeep fully loaded and i'm paying less than what i told them originally. apparently jeep wanted my business. i think you need more customer satisfaction over there. We went online and shopped for a new Passat TDI - specifically the SE. We test drove the SEL because, as we were told, the SELs were the only available model at that time. We liked it, but wanted the SE. 3 separate dealerships called us up asking us to come on down even though the SEs were not out yet - 2 even promised us they had SEs on the lot! (we drove out to one... they didn't, and expressed sincere apologies for the miscommunication) Valenti was completely different. We test drove the Audi A3 and the Passat (Valenti's Audi dealership is right next door); one right after the other. Both sales guys took the same approach: choose the right car for you, there's no pressure to buy mine. That extra level of comfort with the sales staff made it really easy to chose a dealership... and once we chose the VW, Matt was a huge help. We had every thing setup in advance, to the point where we swung by after work on a weeknight and were home with the new car before dinner. Everything was as promised or better: VW's biggest kept secret is that the EPA mileage estimate for the 2012 Passat TDI is WAY under (I'm getting 43 City, 50 Hwy). We're driving a nicer car, saving money doing it... and it didn't require us to break someone's arm or fight tooth and nail. It was an easy and almost pleasurable experience. More
Coming from a Chevy-only family and owning my last car for 8 good years, I was nervous to break the family tradition. I had done my shopping and fell in love with the 2012 Jetta GLI Autobahn with Navigat for 8 good years, I was nervous to break the family tradition. I had done my shopping and fell in love with the 2012 Jetta GLI Autobahn with Navigation. I had started working with another dealership close to my hometown of Mahopac, NY, but was treated so horribly by the salesman that it almost detered me from buying a VW at all. A friend of mine gave me Matt Daubney's contact information at Valenti Motors and he took my appointment the very next day. To say he was helpful is an understatement. The other dealership almost crushed my dreams of buying the car that I fell in love with, but Matt was so sensitive to my where I was financially (I work for a children's non-profit - so every penny counts) and worked out every option possible to see what would work for me without ever making me feel that I couldn't get exactly what I wanted. Having come to a monthly payment that worked for me, Matt ordered my new car and gave me the estimate of approx. 8-10 weeks and he was right on the money. When I went to pick up my new car (last weekend) Matt spent an hour with me going over EVERY single detail of the car from the navigation to setting up my iPhone (which he did for me!). I couldn't have asked for a better salesman (especially after what I dealt with at my local dealership). To drive an hour in order to get superior customer service was nothing. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you Matt and the team at Valenti Motors. Being the first in my family to buy a non-Chevy feels pretty darn good. Loving my VW! More
Matt was awesome...we actually went to the dealer to test drive an Audi and feel in love with a VW. We never felt pressured through the experience (while deciding what vehicle to purchase) and all members o drive an Audi and feel in love with a VW.
