Lied to by service Manager Took my wife's vehicle in for strut bushings because there was grinding when she turned the wheel. When we got it back the front tire shook so bad I thought the tire was going to fall off. They claimed it was a tire balance issue. I took it back to the place we bought the tires who said it was in the drive train. We then brought it to a third garage for an independent evaluation and they stated it was the bearings in the axle. I spoke with a friend of mine who is service manager of a Ford dealership in Arizona who told me that when they did the strut bushings they probably damaged the axle bearings. I took it back to Valenti Ford where Laura continued to argue with me saying it was tires. I took their service guy for a ride and he then told Laura that it was an axle. She started yelling at the service guy asking why they didn't say that before. I just stated to her I was not upset but the vehicle was not like this when I brought it in I wanted it fixed. They never called me for a week I finally called them and they stated they were waiting for a new axle. At this point I thought they were fixing it for free because they damaged it. When I called to find out when I could pick it up the following week Laura stated that she was working up a bill for me. I then stated that I did not approve of any work there was no cost discussed with me . At this point Laura in a smug voice stated "We can put the old axle on for you if you like." I asked to speak with Rob Valenti and was denied and told to speak with Hugh (who is the husband of Laura) We argued about the repairs and he finally relented and stated very angrily that they would absorb the cost. When I went to retrieve the vehicle he took me on the service floor with anger pointing to the axle stating that I didn't know what I was talking about and neither did the other 3 garages I spoke with. I sent a letter to Rob Valenti who responded with in a couple hours personally phoning me at home and apologizing. Unfortunately with what transpired after nearly 40 years of dealing with this business I have lost my trust in them and could not deal with Ford service again. It was a nightmare for me. It is a shame that the service department couldn't admit their mistake and just fix the problem. I would have been willing to pay part of the cost due to normal wear if they had been reasonable. Rob Valenti is a very nice person but I certainly would not deal with Ford Service in that facility. I also find it problematic that a husband and wife team run the service department, they will always back each other. More
Techs are thiefs and slobs I agree with Skydee and others who found service department to be poorly run and terrible service. I had a feeling mechanics were stealing from my car so I put them to the test and they confirmed it. After my visit, I checked all the things in my glove box I had confirmed to be there and things were gone. Hugh got defensive and claimed his tech would not do that. Called Bob Valenti who stated he had not had issues like that in years, even though I saw recent reviews making the same claims - poor ownership and lousy management. More

The video record your oil changes, except for when they steal from you… They have video surveillance everywhere, except for when your stolen from them they can't figure out what happened. Yeah.. run, don't walk to the next dealership. I have free oil changes for the life of my very expensive vehicle… But I choose to go elsewhere because I refuse to get stolen from. More
I have had my truck serviced by the dealership several times in the last year, and am under the direct impression I am being scammed. My husband is in the Navy and is often gone, so he recommended we have times in the last year, and am under the direct impression I am being scammed. My husband is in the Navy and is often gone, so he recommended we have our Ford Excursion serviced with the nearest dealership, which is them. They replaced our wheel bearing ($1500, FYI) 14 months ago, and since then I have had it back in roughly every 2 months for the same noise that made me seek service to begin with. First it was a brake caliper, then a U-joint...every trip is at least $300. I finally brought it to another mechanic (family friend I had to drive all the way to Maine to see) and the wheel bearing they replaced is bad. But, guess what? I am over the 12-month warranty period, so I just ate $1500. When I asked "Shouldn't a wheel bearing last a lot longer than 8000 miles" the service person assured me it should but since I was over the 12 months there was nothing I could do despite having brought it back religiously over the last year for the SAME NOISE. Every time I bring it back and say "I just paid you $600 last week and it still makes 'the noise' " I am told it must be something new. We had a similar experience with the dealership about a year ago witho ur mini van and actually had to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau before they would fix their mistake. Save your money and take your business elsewhere. More
I have used the Valenti Ford Service Department for over 25 years. They are competitively priced, HONEST, and do the work right - the first time. I have so much confidence in the Service Dept. that I have 25 years. They are competitively priced, HONEST, and do the work right - the first time. I have so much confidence in the Service Dept. that I have even called them from Cincinnati to see if a repair was properly priced / needed (it was, and they were within dollars of the estimated cost). They will do their best to solve your issue in the quickest amount of time. I have trusted them for a long time and continue to do so. More
