Purchased a car with Valencia BMW less than a month ago, barely a week after the check engine light came on. Took it back to the dealer and explained I had checked what the light was indicating, the service advisor Roberto Perez who assisted me, had assisted me on another service request for another vehicle prior a while back and it’s the 2nd time I’ve had him and it just seems like every time it’s warranty related he gets a xxxx attitude. No people skills, guy acts like he’s paying for the service out of his pocket! He sent me on the way home Friday saying everything checks out fine was just a one time fluke, “we cleared the check engine light” just to have the check engine light come back on in less than 24 hrs, now I have had to make a second trip back take more time, I’m not sure how this advisor has managed to be there this long. It’s a poor indicator of leadership! More
My service adviser was Roberto and he was such a pleasure to work with. He was kind, patient and allowed me to show him what the problem with my car was. Brought my car for regular maintenance, and was disappointed that I couldn't get a loaner car to go to work. The intake process was great, and communication was ideal. However, the status updates and responsiveness degraded after committing to receive services. This is not my problem, and the dealership needs to assume responsibility and maintain communication, especially when I notified them of an upcoming international trip. It felt more like an upselling experience than fixing the issues intended for the visit. A panel was dismounted, and I requested it to be fixed, but it was not touched and left in the original spot as I dropped off the car, with no mention of it during the repairs. I needed an estimate to repair my dashboard but never received one during the time the car was there. The car was not washed after spending over $2.5K on repairs, although a voucher for a car detailing was provided. I won’t be driving to Valencia from Glendale for a car wash. Overall, I won’t be returning to the Valencia location since my visit was driven by similar issues and shortcomings from Pacific BMW in Glendale. Why drive the extra miles to have a similar experience? The dealership was clean, and the staff was courteous. More
