One of a kind experience I was looking for a clean certified 2008 VW Touareg for over a month until I stumbled upon VW of Hartford. I live in NJ so I knew it would be a 3 hr I was looking for a clean certified 2008 VW Touareg for over a month until I stumbled upon VW of Hartford. I live in NJ so I knew it would be a 3 hr ride but was willing to travel if I found something I liked. From my initial contact with the dealer I could tell right away it was going to be a great experience. Stephen and his manager William went out if their way to give me the best price they could. They also made sure they disclosed any major scratches or damage since I wasn't willing to take a trip just to view the car and then have to go back again to finalize the transaction. We agreed on a price and made an appointment to meet that weekend to take delivery of the Touareg. To my surprise when I arrived all the paperwork was ready and I was out of there keys in hand within 1.5 hrs! I was returning a vw Passat lease so they managed to take care of that also and the manager William waived the disposition fee. It was a real pleasure meeting Stephen and Bill and would highly recommend them to anybody. I will be back next yr for a GTI and or the new cross blue. Thanks guys! More

My 2010 Jetta Tdi well past any warranty coverage needed a new High pressure fuel pump and all the fuel component This was a great service experience! My 2010 Jetta Tdi well past any warranty coverage needed a new High pressure fuel pump and all the fuel components that fail when this pump fails and the list is extensive and expensive. The service manager John working with VWOA fixed my car and fully covered the fuel system repair. John also explained a little work that I would have to pay for, But fully explained what the problem was and what caused the failure and he gave me a reasonable repair cost. With the support I received from VW of Hartford and VWOA I would definitely buy another VW. More

Used to like the service Check engine light on an 05 Passat, three visits and $1300 later, the light is off. After paying the last $745 on 3rd trip, I was informed that the se Check engine light on an 05 Passat, three visits and $1300 later, the light is off. After paying the last $745 on 3rd trip, I was informed that the secondary air pump (err what Is a secondary air pump) was making noises and I should think about fixing it. 1. The car never made this noise prior to that point, 2. They had the xxxxx to say they had nothing to do with the problem suddenly starting. in other words VW of Hartford didn't own up to the issue. I've taken good care of this car and I understand that is getting older (116,000 mi), but I know the car and listen, watch and feel it daily. driving into VW, no problem, driving out of service, problem. I won't go back to this dealership again, they're overly concerned with getting their money, quality of service is poor and I don't think they're competent. I used to like them but they have a new face at the desk and he isn't fit for customer service (nor is his boss, Bob). I dealt well with Tom, the prior rep. More
