Liz was very helpful and answered all of our questions in our quest for a new Jetta. She went out of her way to help us find the perfect car. Liz was wonderful throughout the entire experience, not only knowledgeable but also funny and engaging. All of the people that we dealt with on that day were great, but Liz definitely stood out. She is trustworthy and obviously "knows her stuff". We were very happy with the purchase price of the cars, and the all around experience. When my daughter is ready to buy a car, I will be sending her to see Liz, as well as anyone else that I know of who is looking for a car. More

They can't even do an oil change correctly. More

Bait and switch...twice Multiple bad experiences here. Shopping for my vehicle, I was told by the sales person that there was a blue-tooth hands-free phone system install Multiple bad experiences here. Shopping for my vehicle, I was told by the sales person that there was a blue-tooth hands-free phone system installed in the Certified Passat I purchased. This was the most important "must have" feature for me as I explained up front. It wasn't until the vehicle was delivered that I found out the system didn't actually exist in my car- just the buttons on the steering wheel for future compatibility. Even though the Sales Rep owned his (very large, but honest) mistake, the GM would not approve installing the system post-sale. Instead, I had to spend a significant amount of time fighting this battle. Ultimately, I went through VW Corporate Customer Care who very quickly ensured that the dealership took care of this. It would have been a much better experience if they did the right thing on their own instead of being told what to do by the VW Corp. Recently, had an issue with one tire losing air. However, Town Fair was unable to remove the tire and repair due to the fact that I was never given the correct socket for the tire lock. Once again, I spoke with the GM who assured me they would cut off the special lug nuts and replace with regular ones. Also informed me that they would inspect and figure out where the issue was with the leak and address if it could be fixed. All of this, I was informed, would be at no charge as a courtesy given the inconvenience I was caused. Upon arriving at the dealership the next day, I was told there would be a $20 charge for the work. I explained to the Service Manager that I was assured there would be no charge and I wasn't going to paying for any of the work they were doing. I assumed that this was a miscommunication between the GM and him since what I was told was crystal clear. He agreed to call the GM and research but in the meantime would start the work removing the locked lug nuts. 10-15 minutes later, he came out to the waiting area and explained that although the work for removing the lug nuts would be at no charge, the GM was had gotten back to him confirming that a $20 charge should apply for the tire inspection / repair. Again, I asked him to call the GM and straighten this out, making it clear that I had no intention of paying for any services while I was there- I was only prepared to have the "free" work done that I was promised. He left and didn't come back for another 30+ minutes. At this point, he arrived with my keys and informed me that they GM didn't budge on the $20 charge, handed me my keys and asked for payment. After the work had been done. Stunned, I took my keys and informed him that he had been told twice by me that I wasn't going to have anything done that there was a charge for. The Service Manager became visible upset, rolled his eyes and muttered something under his breathe in frustration. However, he quickly tried to regain his composure and in a frustrating tone told me that "they'd just pay for it" and we quickly wrapped things up. Unfortunately, its dealerships like this that give the industry a bad name. This GM needs to be more concerned about retaining customers and following through on promises he makes, rather than trying to trick people into thinking they're getting good customer service and then pull a bait and switch. More

Even though I already had my eyes set on a car they were sure to highlight even more features and services that solidified my decision even more. Overall, the experience was great and I really felt everyone there really wanted to help me make a good choice for my first car. So far I haven't had any issues, but I know I'll be in good hands should anything arise. More
