Outstanding Service I began having trouble with my 2003 Accord at lunch time on a Friday afternoon. My battery light came on while I was on the highway. Since my batter I began having trouble with my 2003 Accord at lunch time on a Friday afternoon. My battery light came on while I was on the highway. Since my battery is less than a year old, I knew it was my alternator. I called VIP Honda and was transferred to Gwen. Gwen was able to get an alternator for my call and scheduled me for Saturday morning. Went off without a hitch. A Fast oil change and a great experience. I came into V.I.P. Honda in North Plainfield, for an oil change. I did not make an appointment. The service advisor named Gwen got me in right away. I was very pleased with Gwen's attitude and I was out of there in less than 30 minutes. I highly recommend the service department. She mentioned about the diagnostic testing to be done and she would call me right away with the results. They were just about to close so the testing was not going to get done until the next day. She asked if someone was coming to pick me up. I stated my wife would be here in about a half hour. At that time she offered me a Loaner Car which I could return after work the following day. I accepted. My wife didn't have to come pick me up and the problem with the car was corrected the following day. Thank you Tara for providing excellent customer service! More

Failed to perform basic diagnosis I dropped of my V6 Accord 07 by the night drop off, and I requested [Diagnostics to check intermittent engine starting]. They wanted to perform a call I dropped of my V6 Accord 07 by the night drop off, and I requested [Diagnostics to check intermittent engine starting]. They wanted to perform a call back item (for the power steering) which I did not care about. I allowed them to do hoping that they will help me with my problem. To my disappointment and losing third day without the car. They told me that their guess is that it might be either the ignition switch or the starter. I authorized them to replace the ignition switch and I declined the steep cost they wanted for the starter $700.00. They gave me my car back without finding the cause of the problem and they charged me $220.00 that I paid just to get my car back and never return to this delaer. More
