Matt King was very friendly, and professional, and his personality showed through when I visited the Honda dealership last week. He made both my sister and I feel at home and put us at ease. Test driving personality showed through when I visited the Honda dealership last week. He made both my sister and I feel at home and put us at ease. Test driving cars with him was a blast! #roadtrips! It was a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, I ended up not trading in my Honda CRV Hybrid that day, but I am sure Upper Valley Honda will see me again. :) After all I have bought two CRVs from them. More
Upper Valley Honda is the best place to buy a car! They are a no pressure dealership. They worked with me and stayed within my payment range, without trying to push higher. Service here is deplorable, it should not take 2 hours for a simple oil change, but it's never a simple oil change, there is always something else the car needs. They address the A16 and A17 codes but sca for a simple oil change, but it's never a simple oil change, there is always something else the car needs. They address the A16 and A17 codes but scam you into services that the car does not need. I brought my 2021 CRV for its 6-month oil change A16 code in December 2022 thinking I would be in and out in less than 1 hour with a bill for less than $100, I thought wrong, my bill was over $400. I am a sucker when they say you need cabin and engine filters changed, they even talked me into agreeing to get my brakes cleaned. A simple oil change turned into a $400 bill; I was adamant after that experience that never ever will I go back to Upper Valley Honda. I wish there was another Honda dealership in the area, 6 months later today July 7th now I am getting an A17 code, since I just had my snow tires removed, I did not need my tires rotated but I was desperate for another oil change and figured I would give them another chance to redeem themselves. It was another bad experience, I got suckered again thinking I needed cabin and engine filters changed, 6 months and 9,000 miles later, when Honda recommends changing between 15,000 to 30,000. They showed me this video of my car up on a lift then showing me how dirty my cabin filter was, how do I know that the filter in the video is the filter from my car and how do I know that they even changed it? It was NOT another simple in and out oil change, I got charged $60 labor for the oil change and $90 of labor to snap in 2X $30 filters $150 of labor, so now my simple $70 oil change was now $270, what a scam, this service department should be investigated. I spoke to the General Manager Steve Perlowski to no avail; I was not satisfied with his offer to credit me $100 for my next oil change. I will take my business elsewhere. They just lost a very good customer; I was ready to trade in my 2021 CRV for the newer 2023’s. More
Same old poop. Thought I had made a deal knowing the asking price, when they told me what they would give for my trade . We shook, in my mind that was a deal. Then Thought I had made a deal knowing the asking price, when they told me what they would give for my trade . We shook, in my mind that was a deal. Then they came with a sales agreement that had $1,300 added to the price. Undercoating $199 deleted by me. Vin etc fee $299 They lied and told me I HAD to get that. Saw on YouTube that was a scam! Administrative fee $799. HAD to pay that also they said. Think the VT average is about $200. I got up put my coat on thanked them for the coffee. A manager came out they offered me more for my trade and lowered the asking price slightly but I still paid nearly $500 more than the original deal. The used car was almost exactly what I had been shopping for so I Paid. Be sure to read any sales agreement carefully! More
I wish there is option for no stars. What a waste of my time whole day. More

Wish we had of read other reviews before purchasing at Upper Valley Honda. The unmentioned add on fees are ridiculous. $799 for documentation fees (Vermont average is $180)and $299 for useless etching-Th Upper Valley Honda. The unmentioned add on fees are ridiculous. $799 for documentation fees (Vermont average is $180)and $299 for useless etching-The manage said this is done to every car- what a sneaky way to get money. Upon taking the car to my mechanic he found covered over rust that I had to repair and a tire pressure light that should have been fixed. Definitely ask about added fees and get a total before any transaction More
I recently took my Honda to Upper Valley Honda for a warranty repair. The advisor, Jill French, said she would need to contact her regional manager and would get back to me in two days. After three days warranty repair. The advisor, Jill French, said she would need to contact her regional manager and would get back to me in two days. After three days, I called her back and she quickly said she hadn’t heard from the manager, she’d contact him, and get back to me that day. After two more days wait, I called her going directly to voicemail. I left a message. Two days later, I hadn’t heard from her. Again, directly to voicemail. I left another message. To this day, I have yet to get a return phone call. While Honda makes an excellent car, should you wish to purchase one, make sure you have access to another dealer than Upper Valley Honda. More
Both vehicles I looked at looked like they had been used by a family to go on a vacation. Pics showed a clean vehicle, but it was not. Then I am told it had not been recon'd yet? I was looking for a new CR-V Hybrid for my mom and found the trim she wanted on Upper Valley Honda’s (UVH) website. I entered my info to “unlock” my internet price, which was $195 above MSRP (I assumed a do the trim she wanted on Upper Valley Honda’s (UVH) website. I entered my info to “unlock” my internet price, which was $195 above MSRP (I assumed a doc fee). I called the phone number on the website and spoke with a cheerful, helpful internet sales rep. I asked if that price was my out-the-door price, and she stated it was before tax, title and reg. I confirmed again that there were no other fees. She said there were not, so I put a deposit on the vehicle. I was contacted by a sales rep at the dealer (Ben). I told him I was extited by my quoted price and UVH’s transparency. He said that UVH prides itself on being straightforward and honest with customers, and that he would get me a price printout to sign in a couple days. Two days later, he sent the printout, but it had several high-dollar additions. I inquired what they were (because there was no breakdown on the printout): Sentinal exterior and interior “treatments” $1495, Fluid Film undercoating $299, VIN Etching $299, plus a doc fee of $799 that was not mentioned by either rep when questioned. (The doc fee can be found on the website if you scroll all the way to the bottom of the search results - sneaky that they don’t list it as part of my “unlocked” price.) I advised them that we wouldn’t pay for all of that because we were told what our price was and that didn’t include any of those copious fees. UVH declined to sell us the vehicle. For contrast, every other Honda dealer I called told me their add-on fees over the phone the first time I called. That is integrity, honesty and straightforward dealing. That is how a customer should be treated. I car shop for other people frequently, and even own a Honda, and I can thankfully say my experience with UVH isn’t typical. I advise avoiding Upper Valley Honda - take your business to an honest dealer. More
