While I am still very pleased with the automobile I bought from Ron Bortnick, I was disappointed with the service appointment I had today. The oil change was free, which surprised me, and I was ha bought from Ron Bortnick, I was disappointed with the service appointment I had today. The oil change was free, which surprised me, and I was happy with that. However, there was another aspect that was disappointing, and may well cause me not to have my car serviced there anymore. When I bought the car, I obviously took it for a test drive. On this test drive, I heard a bit of grinding in the brakes. Upon returning the car to the lot, I advised my salesman of this. He informed me that it was probably just rust from the car sitting on the lot, and should wear off. If it doesn't, bring it back and we'll take care of it. I signed the papers and off I went. I bought the car at the very end of May. Over the course of the summer, the brakes continued to grind. At the first opportunity, today, I made a service appointment to have the car's oil changed and the brakes looked at. The service person at the front desk was very friendly, but informed me because I had not brought the car back sooner, they would not be able to take care of the brake issue. How disappointing! I was never given a timetable as to when it had to be back to be looked at - just that if I brought it back and the brakes were still grinding, they would take care of it. Let me reiterate, though, that aside from this instance, every interaction I have had with the people at Ron Bortnick Ford has been pleasant and professional. I don't feel they kept their word here, though, and that is disappointing. More
Ron Bortnick Ford is the first place I shop for new and used vehicles. Between myself and other family members, we have purchased almost a dozen vehicles over the past 20 years. Their service is excellen used vehicles. Between myself and other family members, we have purchased almost a dozen vehicles over the past 20 years. Their service is excellent and quick, and their prices can't be beat. They are also generous in their support of the community. I'll be back again for a new vehicle when my youngest son gets his license. More

On July 15th, 2011, I had my F-150 towed in due to mechanical problems which pointed to the FPDM. Once there Dan contacted me to informed me of computer codes and test ran, it appears to be FPDM. Once mechanical problems which pointed to the FPDM. Once there Dan contacted me to informed me of computer codes and test ran, it appears to be FPDM. Once that was changed the truck again would not start, more testing pointed to some wiring issues, replaced wiring under truck, no charge for the wire however this little experiment from Ford finest costed me $427.80, I recieved a call from Dan on Friday 22nd telling me I can pickup the truck at anytime. Saturday morning my daugher went to pick up the truck only to find again the truck wouldnt start. At this time she had already gave them the check and wad dropped in a safe box. I informed Dan on Monday July 25th, I also emailed Ford Corp. customer services, I then called Ford Corp. customer service to see if there was a recall on the FPDM I also explained to her about the status of my truck. July 25th I also called and spoke with Jim Ashbridge talked about the lenght of my truck being there and no one from Ford seems to know how to resolve the issue. No resolution but the charges are piling up for there lesson on what could be wrong with my truck. I then placed a call to Mr. Ashbridge and asked who was footing the bill for their classroom session? I also wanted to know how Ford could make a product they can't fix?? Now it's going on two weeks with no truck, they dont offer or have a loaner truck so I was told my Dan. July 29th, after being told they would need to replace the CBJ that's where the problem is coming from again $268.00, I ok the part and really needed my truck back for the weekend to relocate my horses. OK Friday July 29th, received call from Dan the truck is running however they would like to keep the truck over the weekend and run more test on Monday. Monday August 1st received call from Dan, truck not running properly, pointing to Fuel Pump?? $786.00 this is where it stops for me, all these charges and the truck is yet to be fixed. I informed Dan not to touch or do anymore work on my truck, I checked the prices for Fuel Pumps for my truck from different auto stores $361.00, I called and asked why he was charging me $786.00? when it's only $361.00 at the auto store, well he says that includes taxes, and labor (but he said before they would only charge me for the parts) Again, I called Ford Corp. Customer Services, she called Dan, repeated the same to me as he did. I asked Dan to then fax me copies of notes of what he thought was wrong with the truck; it took him a few hours, he then called me to informed me he was reading over the notes and found that there was no charge and Ford had paid for the FPDM, well yes they would have paid for it, it was still under warrenty. I asked him to please faxed me what he had and finally a hand copy was fzxed. Is this company legit? are the mechanics really mechanics or just some one that depends on the computer to tell them whats wrong with the vehicles? anyone with any knowlege of autos know if it's the fuel pump and dont need to go and replace every part of the vehicle until it works?? Come on guys, I may be a female but I'm a female that was raised by my father. take advantage of me? No I dont think so, it doesn't stop here. If you did it to me i'm sure you've done it to others that just didnt know any better. Ford you should be ashame of yourself to have a company such as this representing you. What a joke More

I have purchased many cars from Bortnick Ford and every visit to this dealership is a pleasure. In the past I have not been thrilled with the car buying experience, however, since finding Ron Bortnick Ford visit to this dealership is a pleasure. In the past I have not been thrilled with the car buying experience, however, since finding Ron Bortnick Ford things have changed. Usually when you first visit a car dealership you enter with the knowledge that you will be jumped upon by a salesman and talked at with pressure to purchase a vehicle. The salesmen at Bortnick Ford are friendly, knowledgeable and not at all pushy. The dealership has a great selection of cars and reasonable pricing. They have special events at the dealership and I feel that they truly care about their customers. Most recogonize that I have purchased vehicles in the past and even if they don't remember my exact name, they certainly remember my face and make sure to greet me with a smile. The service department excels with their customer service even if you are just there for an oil change. As far as financing, I recently took my son to the dealership for his first new car purchase and he had no trouble finding a vehicle he wanted but at 21 yrs old and no previous credit, the financing would be a challenge. Marc Bortnick and the team in his finance department could not have been more helpful! They searched for the best deal along with the best interest rate avialable so that my son was able to afford his first new car. Overall, I don't know why anyone would go to any other dealership in our area. You get a great experience every time at Ron Bortnick Ford. More
Bought Explorer #1. Turned out to be a true lemon - MANY MANY problems - way too many to ever list here. Marc bought it back from me 1 month later at a $3000 loss (which I found out later after he tacked t MANY problems - way too many to ever list here. Marc bought it back from me 1 month later at a $3000 loss (which I found out later after he tacked the $3000 on to a new loan). "Put me in" a second Explorer that was returned from a previous buyer because "the guy was an xxxxxxx because he wanted to flat tow it and Bortnick couldn't get the part, so to keep the buyer from suing them, they bought it back," but Marc assured me was a "perfect" vehicle. Truck has major issues too - when it heats up it sounds like a bus, the transmission slams hard when coming to a stop (which has been the source of lawsuits with buyers winning them), lurches forward erratically when you first start up and pull away, the sunroof leaks through the sunroof switches terribly when it rains, the truck has a vibration in the tires that I felt when test driving it but was assured that it would be fixed, and now the air conditioning fan has gone and makes a terrible noise the entire time it's on as well as the fan not actually blowing the air into the truck. The service manager Jim Ashbridge admitted to me he knew nothing about Fords, that he came from a Cadillac background. I had to show him on line where to look up these problems. Then when they didn't happen for him, he dismissed them ALL as "characteristic" of the truck and would not investigate futher. Now I can't drive the truck more than 50 minutes at a time or the overheating/bus sound problem errupts. The tranmission/sunroof leak/vibration problems I have to live with every day. I now have to take the commuter bus into work because it's a longer than 1 hr drive. I did attempt to take it up to Boston a few months ago only to have in crap out in the Bronx, NY because it was overheating and all sorts of warning lights came on. I managed to limp it home after a few hours of letting it cool off. DON'T LET THEIR FRIENDLINESS FOOL YOU! They are extremely friendly, but jerk you around when it's time to do anything above and beyond. I am so upside down on this $600/mo 6 year loan that they got me into, I can't quite figure out what I'm going to do next. I'm either going to sue, or contact Ford directly to get this fixed maybe by another more competent dealer. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. This is not sour grapes folks, I gave them MONTHS beyond what any other person would have given them to fix this vehicle. More
I was extremely pleased with the serivce I received at Ron Bortnick Ford. The salesperson and sales manager I dealt with were friendly, responsive, and willing to work with me so that I could drive out o Ron Bortnick Ford. The salesperson and sales manager I dealt with were friendly, responsive, and willing to work with me so that I could drive out of the lot with a BETTER automobile that I ever hoped to get. The deal wasn't wrapped up until well after their closing time, but they treated me wonderfully right up until I started my new car and drove off the lot. This will be the third car that someone in my family has purchase from Bortnick, but I can assure you it will not be my last. Thank you so much for the wonderful service! More
Marissa V. Miles and the entire staff at Ron Bortnick Ford went above and beyond to ensure that i ended up with the vehicle that I had been looking for. On the very first day of stepping on the lot, I w Ford went above and beyond to ensure that i ended up with the vehicle that I had been looking for. On the very first day of stepping on the lot, I was introduced to the sales manager and shook hands with one of the owners. Not once did I feel pressured at all, unlike every other dealership I had been to. Every question that i had was answered honestly and in a timely manner which was a nice change of pace. I got a great deal on a great truck and couldn't be happier. The only mistake I made was not going to Ron Bortnick first. Marissa V. Miles took great care of me and answered all my questions and concerns (even when I called her on her day off). More
