Stephen Bacon went above and beyond to make our experience as smooth as possible. It was actually enjoyable to buy this car, for the first time in my life I can say this! He really went above and beyond his duties for us. Specifically, when we found out our vehicle had a front license plate, as it was transferred from Atlanta, he personally took care of the details to make sure this was removed, plugged, and painted for us. It would not have been a deal breaker, as he knew, but he knew it was an important detail and wanted our car to be absolutely perfect for us. His attentiveness to detail, honesty, and knowledge was exactly what we needed and why we went with University Volvo as opposed to others in the area. We have tried having our cars serviced at the dealership in Augusta, Ga. and Columbia, SC; neither can come close to the service we recieve at University. He did a great job. We have purchased 4 Volvos from this dealership and recommended it to a friend and they bought a vehicle there, also. I have never dealt with Volvo and with the information that I had received from my brother, quite frankly I really didn't think it would have been an experience that I would have enjoyed. Normally car buying is not a really fun experience. I loved the fact that AJ worked with us via email. Most dealers want to communicate via phone or in person. No one today has the time for that! He came in with the best price, was nearby location and when our car was delayed at the port he arranged a loaner for us. Overall very happy with the experience and will recommend them to our friends. Not to mention if the service department does us well our next car for sure will be another volvo! Just a side note I can not tell you how many woman are buying cars and are being treated differently from men...didn't feel this way at all at this dealer!
