Although we opted to decline extra coverage & accessories for this purchase, Mariah and Chelvin empowered us and showed us that our decisions were not only respected, but welcomed. Both of these young professionals communicate proficiently, which we found surprising and refreshing after interacting with sales people at other dealerships for other makes. We drove four hours to make this purchase and it was worth every mile and minute: easiest and most pleasant car-buying experience we've ever had. We've never owned a Mazda (or VW) before, and thanks to Mariah and Chelvin, we intend to make this our "family dealership" for our growing extended family across neighboring states. Five stars isn't enough... they deserve more! More
I wanted to thank Jadyn Rodriguez for her excellent customer service. My son and I were in the market for a new car and she was very helpful. I feel badly that we did not end up buying from the dealer customer service. My son and I were in the market for a new car and she was very helpful. I feel badly that we did not end up buying from the dealership. Had we lived in Albuquerque, your dealership would have been our first choice, all because of Jadyn. She is very professional and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend her for those looking to buy a new car. More
I offered to sell my like new car to this dealership via contact from TrueCar.com and was quoted a sale price contingent on inspection. The inspection was as I had represented the vehicle (it is new, after contact from TrueCar.com and was quoted a sale price contingent on inspection. The inspection was as I had represented the vehicle (it is new, after all) but when I brought in the car the dealership then refused to honor the price they had texted me 24 hours earlier. Bottom line -- this dealership's word is not trustworthy. More
I have been assured that they will take care of this the complete amount. They took our trade-in car but didn't pay off the bank, now we're on the hook. Bought a Passat traded in a Golf Wagon on May 25th complete amount. They took our trade-in car but didn't pay off the bank, now we're on the hook. Bought a Passat traded in a Golf Wagon on May 25th. Had a very positive sales experience. Just got a call from the bank where we financed the Golf Wagon, University Volkswagen hasn't sent in the payoff check yet. Since it was a month ago and the payment is due today we owe additional money on the loan through no fault on our part. They have had our car for almost a month without paying for it. Their first response was to apologize and assure us they will send a check with the May 25th pay-off amount immediately but we will be responsible for the additional payment. This decreases the amount we received for our car by almost $300. We called the bank and they verified that the payoff amount has increased and if we don't pay it late charges will accrue and we will be in default of the loan. We are waiting for a callback from University Volkswagon. I will modify the rating based on their action to resolve their error. Other than this issue, which is a big issue, we had a stellar experience at the dealership More

Wonderful Service Department Extremely happy with the service department! After receiving horrible customer service from Garcia Uptown Volkswagen and Garcia Volkswagen of Santa F Extremely happy with the service department! After receiving horrible customer service from Garcia Uptown Volkswagen and Garcia Volkswagen of Santa Fe and months of unresolved issues, Crystal (service advisor) and Brian (service tech) at University Volkswagen were able to fix my noise issue and oil leak within a week. Both Crystal and Brian were understanding, thorough, and professional. They offered me a loaner vehicle and covered gas while my 2018 Tiguan was being repaired. I wish I had purchased my vehicle from them in the first place and not Garcia. More

I was ignored at 2 of 4 dealerships, however the minute I came in to University VW/Mazda I was promptly greeted by Mikey the salesman. It just got better and better from there. Special thanks the Matt the Sales Manager and Luis in Finance. You, have a customer for life. I have already sent you a referral that bought already. Thanks guys for being so genuine. More
beyond poor. crazy bad. no stars if were an option. I high-centered my bug during the holidays (my bad). Took them over 3 weeks to repair. Granted it was the holidays but they made 6 errors. Things l I high-centered my bug during the holidays (my bad). Took them over 3 weeks to repair. Granted it was the holidays but they made 6 errors. Things like waiting until mechanical work was done (including time to order parts) before starting on body. Service manager said body work was done badly so HE sent it back to be redone. Then after all that they discovered they hadn't ordered all the parts. And today, taking it to another dealership for my 2 year check, a 7th was discovered. A couple of plug wires were hooked up incorrectly. In addition, they dented my car and refused to take responsibility for it. The dent was right by the driver door so I would have noticed it when I took it in. And my only other trip there--my first one--was a snafu too. I requested a 1 year check. They did something else and after waiting 2 hours they had to start all over again. So i have had 2 bad experiences with them and i am not going to take a chance on a 3rd. More
MY "BAR CAR" (passed NM Bar in 2014!) 1.20.15 I am not sure I have EVER had such a smooth, easy, pleasant car-buying experience thanks to Nick Walker and Tavio Borba! From start to f 1.20.15 I am not sure I have EVER had such a smooth, easy, pleasant car-buying experience thanks to Nick Walker and Tavio Borba! From start to finish it was easy-peasy. I had no angst, no haggling, no xxxxxxxx! Picked up my pretty little red Mazda Miata MX-5 on Martin Luther King's Birfday and I was lucky enough to tool around Los Lunas and ABQ with the TOP DOWN in January! Walker and Borba did just what they said they would, when they said they would! They were efficient, friendly, professional and when the time comes, I will seek out University VW Mazda again for my next purchase! Also, I will tell all my friends to give Nick a call! Kudos for making my car buying experience an absolute PLEASURE!!!! Judy Paquin Santa Fe More
