Went The Extra Mile We were traveling through Idaho and ran into car problems with a truck we recently purchased. Went into Dave Smiths of Kellogg Idaho to have the mech We were traveling through Idaho and ran into car problems with a truck we recently purchased. Went into Dave Smiths of Kellogg Idaho to have the mechanics check it out, or technicians as they corrected me on. They told us our truck wouldn't make it home and needed $2400 worth of work on it. They changed a part, claimed to have fixed it and sent us on our way. We didn't make it home without the same system error occurring with the DEF system. We made it home and contacted University Auto Center of Ellensburg, they got the truck in right away and found that what we were told was fixed was in fact not done at all. University Auto went above and beyond to get our truck fixed properly. They made the effort to prove the job was not done that we had paid for and were able to get Dave Smiths to cover the costs. They went the extra mile to get us taken care of. They have ALWAYS treated us with respect with all of our vehicle maintenance and repair needs. I almost gave up on trusting another mechanic but at least now I feel confident to bringing my vehicles in for regular/routine and major repairs. More

Great people, great vehicle for a great price! I found a truck posted on FB marketplace. I drove by and met Taylor and we worked together for a week while I was out of town.
