I always like to give credit where credit is due. My experience at Trophy Nissan/Universal City has a mixed review. The staff has been excellent but I think it is important to rate Nissan as a whole as experience at Trophy Nissan/Universal City has a mixed review. The staff has been excellent but I think it is important to rate Nissan as a whole as that is the branding placed so eloquently on the building. This review takes into account the entire team from corporate to franchise/dealer owner and the team on the ground. I just moved to the area so I have only had a few encounters so far. First, my service writer (Aya) has been great. She definitely knows what she is doing and is very accommodating. The Service manager (Julian) is a gem. He is quite knowledgeable, empathetic and professional. I have enjoyed getting to know him. Where Nissan lacks is in corporate customer service. These reviews are great but if Nissan as a corporation doesn't take action on improving their own customer service based on consumer report cards, that's where the brand may lack and lose customers like me to other manufacturers. First, as a customer who is spending money on new vehicles or service items, I want a manufacturer who takes care of me. When I check in at my service department or to the sales department, I want fresh coffee and water available. I don't want to be told everything is shut off due to CoVid. CoVid has absolutely zero to do with this. There are a dozen ways that dealers can offer fresh coffee or bottled water without compromising your guests safety or health. Second, when I bring my car in after I spend $150 on a detail, I don't want to pick it up with oil and finger prints and dirt on the inside and be told that they cannot clean it due to CoVid. You have at least 2 service techs getting into every vehicle. A third would not add any compromise. And at the least, the outside should be spotless. Third, A dealership should not be dinged for customer service issues when they are doing all that they can. I was recently informed, that if I choose to wait at the dealership and mark that on a customer review, it goes against the service writer's overall rating. I'm not sure if or how this is possible but I do usually choose to wait at the dealer so that is why I think it is so important that the accommodations are above par. Lastly, I have had ongoing issues with my navigation system and syncing to my mobile device. I was promised an up to date navigation system connected through Google Drive. I have had nothing but issues and have been told on several occasions it is Google or Samsung's fault. The syncing system is antiquated. I have used my phone without incident with many other vehicles. It is only with my current vehicle that I have so many issues from navigation shut down, to music and calls that cannot be heard or synced. More

5 STARS This was my first visit to Champion Nissan since I moved back. I was greeted by Aya, my service writer who was a bright professional young woman. She was honest and followed through on every promise I moved back. I was greeted by Aya, my service writer who was a bright professional young woman. I am highly skeptical of these positive reviews. I have superlative credit. For a $17.8k car, I was quoted over $22k out of door. This, yes, because of a "protection package" they wanted to charge $1990 fo superlative credit. For a $17.8k car, I was quoted over $22k out of door. This, yes, because of a "protection package" they wanted to charge $1990 for. Ciajet, the "aviation-grade material" they claim to apply as a sealant, can be purchased on Amazon for $40 bucks by the half pound. Couple hundred dollars, tops, to apply Ciajet - including labor. I walked out and if they give you any mention about the protection package, you should to. As another reviewer here has said, they seem to get touchy on the subject of this fee. You've been warned. Don't support this sort of business. More
