Recommend Universal City Nissan??? Absolutely not! In 1983 when living in Atlantic City NJ I purchased my first Nissan...a Pulsar...at Admiral Nissan...a very good dealership. In 1987 I bought a 200SXse 1983 when living in Atlantic City NJ I purchased my first Nissan...a Pulsar...at Admiral Nissan...a very good dealership. In 1987 I bought a 200SXse coupe from them and held onto it for 10 years...it was a VERY good car. I had moved to LA in 1995 and towed it west with me. When Nissan announced the end of the Z...and being very happy with my 2 previous Nissan's...I decided to splurge and honor the ending of the Z era. But in the process with dealing with Universal City Nissan I was lied to AND overcharged... for a 1996 Nissan 300ZX model. It was still new...with only 74 miles on the car...cuz it was an "Ad-car". The car was negotiated to a price of $32,000, but by the time I drove it off the lot, the price was $39,000. That was May 1997. Everybody was being told this car would become a collectable because NISSAN wasn't making anymore Z cars after 1996! xxxxxxxx! A few years later...in 2002...they brought it back! The 350Z! And that costs LESS than the HYPED up/year old vehicle I bought in 1997. Nissan knew a Z car would make a comeback...xxxx they already had it on the drawing boards for years. OK...The last laugh. When was the last time you saw a Z car on the street...on a daily basis? It's biting them back in the butt and they deserve it. And Universal was just as complacent in this...one of the salesman who was working me had been fired before I signed the contract. He said the Z car was going to come back, but I thought it was just sour grapes. Well he was right! So now Universal City Nissan has lost me as a customer! AND...Nissan has lost me as a customer...FOREVER! More
