I felt like he was wor credit was okay. But I was talking to Berry and he made thins so smooth and comfortable. There was no pressure to do anything. I felt like he was working angles in order to make things possible. I had tons of questions which were all answered and then some. This was not my first car, but was my first new car. I am now the proud owner of a 2013 Nissan Altima. Thank you Brandon M. Bman32103@gmail.com More

I came in to get an oil change in August 2012 and I left some envelopes in my car because I was going to pay some bills when I left. When my car was done and I got inside I noticed that my envelopes was ta some envelopes in my car because I was going to pay some bills when I left. When my car was done and I got inside I noticed that my envelopes was tampered with when I looked inside I seen that the one for my car insurance which had $221.11 was open and they took the 200 but left the 21.11 inside I ran bac to the service side told them what happened and they stated that I was suppose to take all my personal belongs out but this my car and why is your workers going thru my stuff I called the police they came and did a walk thru say its not no cameras back there and I couldn't press charges because I didn't see who took my money I'm highly upset with universal city Nissan I don't like there business and I'm trading my car in a to another dealer just so I don't have to deal with them anymore I will never get my car serviced there again then thats bad your workers steals from Nissan customers. This was the worst experience that I've ever had at a dealership. I was told I was pre-approved and that no money would be required to get the car. But at the time I was dealing with Adrian he asked for dealership. I was told I was pre-approved and that no money would be required to get the car. But at the time I was dealing with Adrian he asked for $7000.00. He did not look at my work history or my pay stubs. Universal Nissan says your job is your credit this is not true. No one ever showed me the vehicle that I asked about several times. I think Universal Has the worst customer service in Los Angeles, don't go there if you want to get a car, they will charge you and the service is extremly bad. Go to Ford or Mike Miller if you want good service and a fair price for the car.. GO SEE CAL! More
Sleazy and underhanded. I drove over 3 hours to Sleazy and underhanded. I drove over 3 hours to purchase my car Universal City Nissan. They said they would match a price another dealer quoted. Sleazy and underhanded. I drove over 3 hours to purchase my car Universal City Nissan. They said they would match a price another dealer quoted. When I went there, they did not have the car. Then they refused to stand by an email from their salesperson specifically agreeing to the price with exactly the items I wanted and including tax and license. First, they said, "Oh, tax and license is extra." (about $1,800). I then showed them my emails that it was specifically included. Then they said, they could do it, but I had to purchase and extended warranty (about $1,800). I showed them the email did not include any such stipulation. Do you see a pattern here? Anyway, I walked away from the sleazy Universal City Nissan just about ready to pass on getting a Nissan product. Note: I gave Nissan one last chance with Carson Nissan--and I'm very glad I did. Night and day! We agreed to a very good price over the internet($400 over Universal City's "phantom" price...it also beat my local dealer by $2,100). When I arrived the car was there. They showed me a contract at $200 *under* what they had quoted. I wanted to be honest so I told them of their "mistake" ("a deal is a deal"). They want back an re-ran the numbers and it came back that it was $200 under and that is the deal they gave me (i.e., by the way, Carson Nisson's true price was only $200 more than Universal City's phantom price). There was no pressure to add items or extended warranties I did not want. Fair, simple and honest--and the best price I could find. Excellent experience. Do your research and let Carson Nissan be your benchmark. I doubt you'll find another dealer who will match their price or service. And stay away from Universal City Nissan. Worst car buying experience I've ever had--and I'm not that young! ps: I have a law degree and have taught negotiations and business ethics at a university for almost 25 years. I am well aware of the "tricks of the trade." As a result, this recommendation comes from someone who (hopefully) knows a little... More
