This dealer does not want you to check the vehicle @ shop When I drove it for 20-30 mins before buying it the vehicle drove great. The 2.5-hour car ride home was a breeze. Then the next day on my way to work When I drove it for 20-30 mins before buying it the vehicle drove great. The 2.5-hour car ride home was a breeze. Then the next day on my way to work it began to idle extremely high (4000 rpm) and was shifting a lot. Then it began to just want to keep going even if I'm on the break pedal. I had a diagnostic yesterday (5-5-2017) and it appears the idle air intake control sensor, as well as the throttle position sensor, were both faulty -and- HAD DISCONNECTED SO IT WOULD NOT READ, AND WOULD NOT ACT UP UNTIL IT BEGAN TO DAMAGE THE VEHICLE. Talk about a lack of integrity, the staff told me on a computer it read for an o2 sensor. The repairs and labor are going to cost me over $600. So please take my advice, I recommend you test drive a car you like, take it right to Pep Boys or a mechanic to have a diagnostic. At the very least, have the lot read the codes off to you so you can recite them to your mechanic of choice over the phone. They will tell you whether or not it is worth the price and I could have paid $600 less and compensated for repair. More
