The only reason I am doing this publicly is that over the past couple of week I had sent two (2) emails under the "contact us" part of their home page and, surprise, not response. On October 7, 2021 I took past couple of week I had sent two (2) emails under the "contact us" part of their home page and, surprise, not response. On October 7, 2021 I took my car in for an oil change. When they were done, I was told that I had an oil leak on the right side of the engine. A week or so later, I called and spoke to a woman. I made an appointment to have the leak repaired for October 21st and asked the women to call me if the part did not come in. I never heard back from then so I called on the 20th to confirm the appointment and that the part was in. I spoke to a gentleman who told me to come in the next morning. I arrived there on the 21st. There was no appointment listed for me and no one could figure out who had answered the call the night before confirming my appointment. Kenneth Whyte was frantic and went to find someone named Allen. He never came back. Another service man kept saying that they were terrible short of help. Short of help does NOT explain why someone would take the appointment and not do the paperwork necessary. Nor does it explain, a gentleman telling me to come in the night before if there was no appointment in the computer to confirm. To top it off, there is not oil leak. When I got home from the non-appointment, my husband saw a smudge of very dry oil and wiped it off. To date there is not oil leaking anywhere. No one there appears to know what they are doing. Total incompetence. BTW - if you need a loaner car while they work on your car. They only have one loaner and you have to wait your turn. More
I took my car in for state inspection. Service writer Ken was very polite and accommodating. I was waiting for the vehicle, after an hour I asked if my car was ready, I was told it was not and then the Ken was very polite and accommodating. I was waiting for the vehicle, after an hour I asked if my car was ready, I was told it was not and then the other service writer rudely told me any service requiring a tech is an hour and a half wait. If I was told it was an hour and a half wait for a job that takes 15 minutes I would have gone elsewhere. I didn't appreciate the way the other service writer spoke to me plus an hour and a half to do an inspection. Guess what? Exactly an hour and a half later I was told my car was ready NEVER AGAIN!!!!! I was about 100 miles from home on a Saturday with my truck and trailer and had a break down. I found Barton Chevrolet and they went out of their way to get me fixed and back on my way. It was a good experience, the staff were friendly, the Finance manager was informative and thoroughly explained everything, Our sales person Jonathan Vazquez was very helpful, friendly and easy to talk to Finance manager was informative and thoroughly explained everything, Our sales person Jonathan Vazquez was very helpful, friendly and easy to talk to, He answered our questions enthusiastically and with knowledge. He took his time to explain and walk us through the process. He gave us detailed information on the inventory and specific cars I was interested in., he graciously showed me all of the cars special features and made sure I understood and knew how to use them all. He even set up my device so that I was ready to go. I felt like he cared about my comfort. Buying a new car can be a scary thing and an intimidating event, I was impressed on his level of understanding/kindness. He made the whole process a more pleasant one. Thank you Jonathan, best of luck to you. Sincerely, Eloiza and Wilfredo Morales More

BARTON'S SERVICE IS A TOTAL RIPOFF... I just bought a 1995 Eldorado convertible with 24,000 original miles that was always garaged and serviced meticulously. The car looks and drives like I just bought a 1995 Eldorado convertible with 24,000 original miles that was always garaged and serviced meticulously. The car looks and drives like a brand new car! Not a mark on it and it needed nothing done. I brought it to Barton's Cadillac for basic maintenance; oil change, radiator flush, transmission flush, check all fluids and belts, key fob battery, check the brakes, hoses and belts. Paul called me with a quote of $4,100... NOT A TYPO! That does not include any repairs. I asked him how much was parts and how much was labor. $3,100 LABOR! At $200 / hour, we're talking about 15 hours labor. He said the water pump was shot. 24,000 miles and the water pump is shot? 3 certified mechanics examined the pump and said nothing was wrong and it didn't need to be changed. Paul quoted me 6 hours labor to change a water pump, 2 hours labor to change a fuel filter and cabin air filter. OMG, I almost lost my mind when he started justifying it as if I was a 10 year old boy who was totally ignorant about cars. I have 3 legitimate quotes for the water pump at $395 - $465 and PAUL QUOTED ME $1,300. $149 for the pump and $1,200 labor...$159 labor to change 2 batteries in my key fob..$419 labor to change the battery cables? Let's see now...$200 / hour and Paul quoted $419 labor? 2 hours to change battery cables? I asked him to replace my headlights with halogens...$211 labor? To change a couple of bulbs? It has never taken me more than 10 minutes to unplug the old bulb and replace it with a new bulb. Everything is flat rate and everything is estimated at 3x the normal time it takes to do the job. The mechanic is basically on commission and can get paid for 20 hours labor even though the jobs only take him 6-8 hours. I know most dealers are flat rate, but Barton's Cadillac and Paul or borderline crooks. Especially in these unprecedented times of the coronavirus, they still want to suck the money out of your pocket. All of the work that they quoted was quoted by 2 very reputable mechanics in the area and they came in at $1,650 for everything...Estimate was that it would take about 4-5 hours for EVERYTHING...maybe 6 or 7 hours if they ran into trouble. DO NOT GO TO BARTON'S CADILLAC SERVICE if you care about your money! More
Barton Chevy wasted my precious time 3 trips to the dealership and 5 hours to buy a new Surburban. What a joke. Oh yes sir, the car will be ready today. That's what they told me 3 days in 3 trips to the dealership and 5 hours to buy a new Surburban. What a joke. Oh yes sir, the car will be ready today. That's what they told me 3 days in a row. Insulting lack of respect, since this is my 7th Suburban. Avoid this place like the plague. More
