BEWARE!!!!!!!!! I took my brand new Nissan rogue into the service depart for a routine maintenance, the first oil change to be exact! Meaning my car had less then 5,0 I took my brand new Nissan rogue into the service depart for a routine maintenance, the first oil change to be exact! Meaning my car had less then 5,000 miles on it.. I informed the guy that i was about to take off on a 9 hour road trip and i understood the car was new but i would just like him to check everything over just to be sure. " you know piece of mind" An hour later i got my vehicle back and he informed that everything looked great and i was good to go! Now you think the service people in a well known dealership like NISSAN could be trusted.. WRONG. So fast forward a week to May 6th, We loaded up our car to venture back home to Reno. As we were loading up our car with all the goodies a little 5 year old could get his precious hands on from a 1st time trip to Disneyland, we noticed a puddle of fluid under our car.. Being under warranty still, because remember this is pretty much a brand new car, we found the closes Nissan dealer ship by us. Which lead us to Puente Hills Nissan.. Again, You think you would be able to trust the service people working in a well know dealer ship like Nissan....WRONG AGAIN So we pull up and a service guy came out and asked how he could help me.. I informed him we were about to head back home to Reno, 9 hours away, And my car was leaking something.. He saw that i had a 5 year old with me who was crying complaining his belly was hurting. So he very nicely sad ma'am we will be happy to put your vehicle up and check everything out for you! Not even 10 mins later he came and found me and said your vehicle is ready... We looked over everything and everything looked GOOD.. we noticed your coolant was a tiny bit low but we topped it for you and you are all set for your trip home! We start driving home and shortly after my son starts throwing up everywhere! my poor little guy had some type of food poising and this was already a horrible car ride for the little guy. So lets speed up a little bit.. We made it to Bishop, CA and was about 5 hours out from being home! As i was sitting on the curb comforting my baby as he was throwing up i noticed a burning smell.. i looked around and couldn't see anything and i figured the service people JUST checked it for me and said everything was good, so i Should be OK right....WRONG AGAIN... 20 mins out of Bishop we heard a loud boom noise... Loud enough to wake myself and son up... I look behind us and there is smoke everywhere!!!! I immediately tell my Boyfriend to pull over. We pull over and i open the door and out starts pouring all of my oil from my engine! needless to say we found out that we had lost our oil plug on the bottom and the engine seized! Are you putting everything together!!! when i got my oil change the dumb xxx who did it wasn't paying enough attention to what he was doing and didn't screw it in properly or tight enough meaning i was leaking oil from April 28 thru may 6!!! So we were stranding on the side of the road for 5 hours ! in the dark! because the fancy Nissan road side service protection they offer on the cars.. couldn't do xxxx for us! So thank god for AAA. I'm not going to bore you with all the details.. but bottom line i feel completely neglected by this dealership.. they showed no empathy for anything.. all they could say is don't be mad at me.. THIS ISN'T MY FAULT .. Even the general manager showed just lack of ownership, lack of understanding, lack of empathy, and lack of even giving a xxxx! the only nice thing they did was give me a loaner car. They had my car for a MONTH! they told me they replaced the engine with a brand new one and that everything should be good! Derrek the service manager said," if you feel anything out of the ordinary or that may be of a concern please don't hesitate to bring it in for us to look at it.. this was a major repair we did and you can never be to sure if something will go wrong." uh really so now your telling me i have to drive a brand new car that i pay almost $500 a month for and worry that something will happen.. I got in my car and drove off.. WHAT DO YOU KNOW, a warning message starts flashing on my dashboard saying my tire pressure was low.. so i pull over get out and sure enough one of my tires was flat! WHAT NEXT NISSAN!!. At this point i am livid! i pull up and walk in and say yea i know ya'll just had my car for a MONTH and checked everything but my tire is flat.. the guy was like uhhhh what... he looked and sure enough there is a nail in my tire.. so i had to wait another 30 mins for them to change my tire, and who knows if they just patched the hole or if they actually replaced the tire.. i guess ill find out.. bottom line i will never trust this dealership ever again.. Thank you so much NISSAN And to all of you, Beware i would stay far away from this dealership! More
