A Sweet Sixteen Surprise for a Princess My husband and I took our 2006 Kia Sorento in for service. We'd already decided that we'd be trading it when the time came to purchase a car for our My husband and I took our 2006 Kia Sorento in for service. We'd already decided that we'd be trading it when the time came to purchase a car for our 16 year old daughter and we originally planned to make that purchase in about one year. However, the car had been sitting, parked outside for over 9 months and except for oil changes had never had a major service. So, when the estimate came back at almost $1000 between repairs and routine maintenance costs we decided to look at inventory. Maryland Chavis saw us sitting in the lobby talking and came over just to greet us and see if we needed a beverage while we waited on our repair. During general conversation he remembered that he'd given us a few brochures a few months back when we came in to get information on smaller vehicles for a possible first car. Since there was no pressure from Maryland on us to buy we engaged him in conversation and explained that we wanted to see available inventory that would be appropriate for a first car for a 16 year old princess. He pulled up several pages of options on the computer and then walked away and gave us time to look uninterrupted. We found a vehicle we fell in love with and Maryland worked out a trade in deal we just could not pass on. The experience was pressure and stress free. Taiwon Myrick completed the financing paperwork and was extremely efficient and thorough taking time to explain every detail and nuance of the documents on his day off I might add. The car delivered the next day as promised and we were able to surprise our princess by picking her up from school in her new car, red bow and all. We would definitely do business again with Maryland, Taiwon and the rest of the staff at Crossroads Kia in Indian Trail NC. Maryland called and emailed my husband and I several times in the days after our purchase assuring us that he was available should we or our daughter have any questions. Everyone worked diligently to get DMV paperwork completed and title work completed quickly and within about two weeks the bank had their payoff, and our daughter was able to drive over to Crossroads and pick up her permanent tag from Maryland. This experience was awesome and hassle free. We definitely recommend this dealership for anyone in the market for a vehicle. More

He was very patient and helpful. I never felt like he was trying to pressure me into something we didn't want or need. We also spoke with Jason Scott who was just as helpful in helping us make our decision. It was a very pleasant experience and I would absolutely recommend this dealership. More

DO NOT GIVE THIS DEALERSHIP YOUR TIME/MONEY!!!!! I would HIGHLY recommend that NO ONE uses this dealership if you are in the market for a new/used vehicle. The staff at Crossroads Kia were unbelievab I would HIGHLY recommend that NO ONE uses this dealership if you are in the market for a new/used vehicle. The staff at Crossroads Kia were unbelievably UNhelpful in so many ways. Jon Haynes (sales) would never return my calls and made me feel like I didn't do my share of the deal. He asked for all of my information through emails and then said he never got my attachments when clearly they were sent. THEN after I we waited for 2 hours at the dealership, they say that they're going to take care of the tags and everything for me. It has been a month and my 30 day tag is expiring, so I call the dealership to see what is taking so long. Taiwon (finance) tells me that they can't transfer my plate so I need to go pay my taxes before they can help me any further. I wish they would've realized that sooner. I'm not a fool-they just started working on my case when I called them. They did NOTHING to help me. The secretary told me that Taiwon was taking a lunch break at 2:30 pm and he would give me a call back after he got back from lunch. Well he never did and the dealership is open until 9 pm. Thanks for all of your help Crossroads Kia - it was an absolutely miserable experience to say the least. Poor customer service and overall bad transaction. More
