My wife and I were researching a new Sienna. It was clear from the beginning that Dave was in a rush. He asked one question (cloth or leather) and then jumped to get a car to show. He then told us we couldn't get AWD in a XLE but only in the limited, and argued that we didn't know what we were talking about. When we asked to see an information book for the 2nd time, he told us he might as well pull up the 2nd car so we could see it even though he still hadn't sat to listen to what we were looking for. After an hour of wasted time, Dave passed us off to another dealer because he said we obviously weren't working well together. It was then I realized why Dave was in such a rush. He had a noon appointment to hand over the keys. Had Dave set some expectations from the beginning and actually sat and listened I'm sure we would have had a fine experience. It was a waste of an hour for all of us. Dave passed us off to Matt H who was wonderful. He listened to what we were looking for, answered all our questions and took us for a test drive. Oh and by the way, Matt not only showed that AWD was available in the XLE but he found one on the lot for us to look at and drive. More
We went to 2 other dealers before going to Andrew. I wish we went there first. They were extremly polite and helpful. Our salesperson, James, was great. He really made the whole expierence easy. I would definetly recomend Andrew to anyone who wants to buy a car. They got us the car we wanted for under our budget. Which wasn't easy because we were trading in 2 cars for 1, one of which was a lease. I don't know how they did it but they made it happen. Thank you to everyone involved. More
My husband and I had an excellent experience with the internet department of Andrew Toyota as well as the other cooperating dealorship employees. Steve and Peter both treated us as if our needs were important and remembered what we said from conversation to conversation. Steve corresponded with me for 2 months via email. He took the time to not only relay the information I requested, but he also took time to add a personal regard during my husbands spinal surgery. He set up and arranged for us to meet with Peter Klein for the final selection and sale. Peter was really sharp on Prius details and proudly showed us every change that had evolved sense our purchase of our 2005 Prius. Peter was knowledgeable and helpful in relaying information on financing, both purchase and lease. Within 2 1/2 hours we owned our second Prius. When I needed a ride to the dealership to pick up my Prius, Peter picked me up himself so that I would not have to be delayed arriving due to a heavy "pick-up" load on that morning. He did a thorough and thoughtful job of acquainting me with my new Prius and made sure I knew all of the options for operating it according to my needs. This is our second Prius to purchase from Andrew. We came back because of their personalized customer treatment. I am sure that when we are ready for Prius #3 we will return to Andrew Toyota More
Dmitris was a great sales person. I have been a customer of Andrew Toyota for 20+ years. I love my cars, the service folks have always taken very good care of me. I am from a town 45 minutes away and it took me two days to complete my new car purchase at Andrew. On the first day, the salesman I worked with was very friendly and negotiated a very reasonable price that to complete my new car purchase at Andrew. I had many questions and even though he was not that knowledgeable, he did make every effort to thoroughly answer my questions. The final price of the car was settle, I was told I qualified for a rebate, a binding contract was signed, and I put down a $20 deposit. On the second day, I returned to the dealership with my down payment and ready to sign papers with the financial person. However, I was told that I no longer qualified for the rebate because of an outstanding past due amount on my credit report. The financial person showed me the itemized item and I was not aware that this was in my record. In the past, I have had problems with that individual who has the same name as I do, but I was not aware of her bad credit history and somehow it has made its way into mine. I told the financial person it wasn't me and what she could do to help me, she just asked if i had any proof that the bill was paid, but how could I have proof, when it was not me. So I decided to not purchase the car and was ready to leave the dealership, but I needed my deposit back. The salesman said he would get it for me, but instead he went to talk to the General Manager (GM). The GM was very friendly, asked background information, and worked with me so that I got my rebate. I also worked with him and provided documentation to prove that the outstanding utility bill was not mine because I was living in another city when that account was opened and closed. I was satisfied to be getting the car for the price that was agreed on on the first day. However, when I went back to the financial person, she hurried through the process. She was very unfriendly, hurried through the process, and did not explain anything in detail. I did not like that she rushed this process, because it confused me on how much my monthly car payment would be and the amount for my down payment. I had to write out the numbers to visually see the amount that I needed to write out for the check. Overall, the salesman and the GM were the only two who were friendly and worked with me to make me feel good about my new car purchase. My only critique is that the financial person needs to work on her people skills and clearly explain all the paperwork and not rush through it just to get me out of her office. After all she was not working for free, I was paying her a fee through the processing fee. More
