But he helped me and assured me with any uncertainty that I had. I felt very comfortable throughout the whole experience. Since then I have continuously referred Prentiss to many associates and friends. They have all given positive feedback about their experiences. Whenever I am at Andrew Toyota for a scheduled service, if Prentiss spots me, he remembers me and always asks if I am still satisified with my purchase, which I am very pleased. Thomas Ivory made our car buying experience painless. He goes ourt of his way to make sure all of your needs are met and that you are comfortable with the major decision you are about to make. He never makes you feel pressured and he is so patient with you. He was so good, we came back 5 months later to buy a second car. Once again, Thomas made sure he was getting us the best deal possible and making sure we were not buying any unnecessary extras. He & the manager even offered to order dinner for us because it was late in the evening when we came to sign papers and pick up the car. He goes above and beyond. I would recommend him to everyone. I just had the worst experience with Prentiss Farsee. He just did the old "bait and switch" routine with me, and of course the "I have to take the offer to the tower" routine....We requested to add 2 access just did the old "bait and switch" routine with me, and of course the "I have to take the offer to the tower" routine....We requested to add 2 accessories and he added them on the offer sheet. When we were negotiating, and he came back with another offer, apparently they were not added into the final price and that was totally misleading! I continually asked about them and got a fuzzy answer... The "manager" came out to talk with us, of course....after them trying to explain that the accessories were part of a DIFFERENT part of the negotiating process (Hello??? Seriously???)....And after giving us the run around (and we did lots of homework about what we wanted, etc....) we walked away without the Toyota. Not only was Prentiss shady, when he came back with the "offer of gold from the tower", they had ADDED $1000 to the price by recalculating some things and omitting the accessories, and including our trade in!... Somehow, he thought we were really stupid because he subtracted money down (as in OUR money) from the total, in the attempt to make it look like we were really paying a lesser amount, hoping we wouldn't realize that was OUR money he was subtracting, I guess... We were planning on putting money down, but that doesn't make our total paid less...it just makes the amount owed less.... Car dealers are ruthless and horrible.....We will never go back there. I don't care if you receive cookies and a free car wash, that is just a way to smooth over the crookedness that they wallow in..... More
I came to Andrew Toyota looking to purchase a new toyota tundra. The salesman Dan was very polite and engaging, he was very attentive, and helped me find exactly what i was looking for. Bar None...the best Service Dept. I have ever experienced. I have been getting ym vehicles serviced at Andrew for 13 yrs now and have never had a visit that wasn?t absolutely "top-notch". Just moved from North Carolina to Milwaukee and have been in to the dealership twice for a "check engine light". Unbelievable experience! I could have hung out there all day. Pleasant staff who routinely made rounds throughout the dealership updating guest and making sure folks knew they weren't forgotten. Trustworthy... I never felt like they were "upselling" the invoice. Truly felt like they had my best interest at heart. Warm, friendly, trustworthy... I wouldn't go anywhere else. I drove away chuckling and thought, "Hum... I'm not even upset by the fact that I just dropped $240.00." They even send you away with a bag of chocolate chip cookies... and a free car wash. The car looked brand new and is running great. I was very impressed. Congratulations for creating such a great dealership experience. It's quite an anomaly for the industry. ;) C. Lamothe More
