Best Car Buying Experience Ever!!! After searching the web and visiting numerous dealerships the wife and I stumbled upon a 2013 Range Rover Evogue at Ultimo Motors. We lined up a day o After searching the web and visiting numerous dealerships the wife and I stumbled upon a 2013 Range Rover Evogue at Ultimo Motors. We lined up a day of searching in the Chicago area and drove the 4 hours over to check on 4 different vehicles. We had not called ahead so when we arrived at Ultimo Motors we were pleasantly surprised to find an "exceptionally" clean indoor show room with equally nice high end vehicles to browse. After a bit of looking Larry LaCoste AKA "Rock & Roll Larry" approached us to ask if we needed help or had any questions. He informed use the Evogue we were looking for was at the local Land Rover dealership. They were addressing a service message that had appeared. Larry suggested that we look at the other vehicles on our list and he would try to get the vehicle back before we left town. We returned later that afternoon after a call from Larry only to find the vehicle was still not back. At which time Larry loaded us up and we headed to the Land Rover dealer to check out the Evogue. When we arrived we found the vehicle to be exactly as represented in the ad. We returned to Ultimo and negotiated what we felt was a very fair deal. When we returned 2 days later to take delivery, the Evogue was ready and waiting and all the "little" items we had asked about had been completed. Larry, Scott and Doris were very informative regarding the purchase and warranty options. At no time did we ever feel any "high" pressure to purchase anything. We will definitely be calling Doris back regarding an extended warranty before the end of the year. Larry was knowledgeable about all the different makes of cars and was pleasantly more interested in us and what we wanted. Really felt no pressure and by the time we bought the car we considered Larry more a friend than a salesman. The entire staff, including Doris, the financial guru, were great. We would recommend this experience to anyone tired of the dealer show room sales people. More

Best Car Buying Experience EVER To give the reader context for this review, I have never purchased a car out of state (I've been buying cars for 30 years), and I admit I was hesitant To give the reader context for this review, I have never purchased a car out of state (I've been buying cars for 30 years), and I admit I was hesitant. I found the exact Porsche I wanted at Ultimo Motors in IL (I live in MN), and the pictures revealed a pristine car in mint condition - but not being in IL I couldn't just swing by and take it for a test drive. I went ahead and filled out their online form, and was soon contacted by Tasho, who had an expert knowledge of the car (a Porsche Panamera), the car's history, and the answer to all my questions. He was professional and didn't try to "sell" me the car - no pressure whatsoever. I told him I'd have to give it more thought and that I'd get back to him. Having done extensive research on the car, I knew the price was more than fair, and based on the stellar reviews at this review website, I called him back and put down a deposit. He overnighted the paperwork after quickly securing financing for me, and I flew a few days later to give it a test drive. Tasho picked me up from the airport (I didn't have to wait at all as he pulled up in a new Mercedes right as I walked out to the curb). The car was BETTER than described online/in pics. Their showroom (which was indoor) was immaculate, and they had the car waiting for me in the center aisle. It was quite! I could not be happier. As I look back on the process, I have to say this really was the best car buying experience I've ever had. No hassles. No haggling. Super friendly staff that applied NO pressure to purchase. I had to change my travel plans twice in just a few days - and Tasho accommodated me at every turn with amazing patience. The car was even better than described, and I was in an out in FIFTEEN MINUTES. That has NEVER happened before. In fact, I recently purchased a new Infiniti QX-80 at a local dealership - and was at the dealership for FOUR HOURS.
