Still no contact from the xxx manager... Not a thing... And now I'm paying $12,000 for a car with engine and and transmission issues, but to top it all off... The AC stopped working all together... So now I'm driving my 4 girls around in a car all summer here in Florida with 100 degrees weather in a car with no AC... Thanks so much for this guys you really out did your self on this and I hope that xxx manager gets some Karma for this... BBB has been contacted....... Terrible customer service. Bought a car here a coupe months ago and the manager himself got me into this car. This car has been so problematic since I got it. At first they were nice and "fixed" the issue, and now that it's having more issues they are giving me a hard time about making this right. I've tried several times since the beginning of this to get in touch with the owner and the only one who would write is the mechanic. The manage is now hiding behind his mechanic and won't even write me himself. I would definitely not recommend going to this place. Now with all the issues of this car I'm paying 12000 for a car that's only worth about 4000 at most. By the way is not just a little issue either.. it's a transmission issue. Please save yourself the trouble and don't get a car here. I'm hoping this review will help someone else from making the mistake I did. More
Today I received a scratch and win marketing piece from them in the mail. I scratched it and my number matched the win $500 box. I had to schedule and appointment and it is right by my kids school so I scheduled it for on the way to pick them up. When I get there to claim my prize I was told no, that is just an example. The actual number is printed lightly near the mailing address and is not at all obvious. I got up and told him it is ridiculous to use such deceptive and sleazy marketing tactics and walked out. Eric, the owner, came out to my car profusely apologizing and agreed that it was deceptive marketing and that he had been out of the office for a family medical emergency and had not seen the final proof before it went out. He offered me gas money to make up for it. When I scoffed at him for his lack of awareness that luring people in like that is xx, he upped that to an oil change and a car detail. For someone who appreciates locals supporting local business he and Ultimate Cars sure don't respect the local people's time whatsoever. He admitted that it was deceptive marketing and that it only happened because he was out of away for a medical emergency but going through their Google reviews there is another 1 star review for the same thing in April 2022. I wonder if that was also due to a medical emergency? Total sleazy smoke and mirror marketing tactics and I will not be buying a car from them again. We bought a car from them last year and they pushed the extended warranty super hard to which I reluctantly agreed as he said that we would be refunded the extended warranty if we requested the refund within 90 days of purchase. I duly requested it within the time frame and then their "systems" were down so they couldn't issue the refund. I persisted over the next week and was then told that actually their insurance providers system was down and there was nothing they could do. I contacted their insurance provider who said their was nothing wrong with their systems and that they were not down at all. It took a couple weeks and over 10 phone calls before they eventually refunded the amount. Conniving and shady business practices here. Give your business to a business that values and appreciates your business. More
