My wife is looking to replace our VW Beetle for a bigger car to accommodate a bigger car seat for our daughter. She found a really nice looking 2012 VW Tiguan at this dealership's website and called to inqu car to accommodate a bigger car seat for our daughter. She found a really nice looking 2012 VW Tiguan at this dealership's website and called to inquire about it. She set up an appointment to come see the car the following day. That morning, we received a call from our salesperson Dustin saying that one of the other salesmen were trying to show the car and if we put a deposit on the car then they wouldn't be able to show it. Now here's where things go bad. They want my wife to place a 500$ NON REFUNDABLE deposit on a car that she hasn't ever seen, so that they don't sell the car that she made an appointment to see. Needless to say, she left immediately to come see the car, but on her way they called and said the other buyer had placed a deposit down and she would not get to see the car. When my wife talked to Dustin, he was very nice. So instead of simply asking the other buyer to wait an hour to see the car, they let another salesman sell the car out from underneath ours because we weren't willing to place a deposit on a car we had never seen. Very poor communication by this dealership, and poor customer service too. When I called and spoke to the manager, Matt, he expressed that he did not like the policy either but that is the way they do things. If we had known we would need to make a mad dash to buy that car, we never would have made an appointment to see it. We would have drove down there as soon as possible to get it instead. Very disappointed by this experience, and now we are forced to look at dealerships that are a lot farther away to get the same car. When buying here, don't bother making appointments just get there ASAP before the sales reps kill each other over a dollar. Oh, and a word to the management. Using the phrase "It's the end of the month, and what happens happens.", makes us feel like a sale not a customer. More
Purchased a used 2008 Ford Escape for our Daughter. The car did not make it more than 100 yds. off the lot when the "ABS" light illuminated. Tyler's made it clear that they would not fix the issue. We bought a new Jeep Overland Summit from this dealership. They were wonderful. They had the best price, they were friendly and treated me with respect, which I appreciate as a female in the car dealership. They were wonderful. The price was comparable to (or better) than what was listed by AOL cars, Edmunds TMV, and Consumer's Reports as the good prices regionally. Gary worked hard to find the exact vehicle I wanted and the communication was always easy. I can't say enough good things about this dealership, it was the best car-buying experience I have ever had. We will come back when we are ready for the next one! More
