Two Rivers Ford - “The Worst” Oil Change Service I took a 2014 Ford Explorer in on 5/28/19 for their “The Works” oil change service. I picked up the vehicle, drove home, and parked in my garage. Re I took a 2014 Ford Explorer in on 5/28/19 for their “The Works” oil change service. I picked up the vehicle, drove home, and parked in my garage. Reviewing over the invoice and all the vehicle checks performed I noticed they used the wrong oil for my engine, 5w20 instead of 5w30. I call the service department about this and they say they hit the wrong button on the invoice and they are sure they put in 5w30. That is Issue #1, well the next day I move the vehicle out of the garage and notice there are multiple oil drips in my garage floor. I then look under the vehicle and there is oil dripping from the oil filter, oil pan, and skid plate/splash guard (i have pictures). This is Issue #2 and I was under the vehicle the day before service and none of this was present. I take it back to Two Rivers and they deflect with statements like “it’s a 100k mile vehicle” and “I saw some rust under there last time” which I’m aware of and had no relevance to the oil change issue at hand. They then check and find that their tech had dumped a lot of oil from the filter change into the skid plate/splash guard and did not clean it up. Driving home caused wind to hit it and throw the oil all over everything under the vehicle. They cleaned it up, changed oil with correct oil, offered apology over the phone, but no refund was offered for my time wasted via calls and visits over 2 days. I pick the vehicle up and ask the clerk for a refund, she checks with manager and a refund is given. I ask the clerk if a manager would like to discuss this issue with me and I get a “No we’re ok” as a response. This is why this review exists. Chris (Service Manager) is kind, helpful and courteous. Chuck (my Service Advisor) always takes excellent care of me; he listens, assesses and strives to serve his customers to the A+ level.. Add to this that everyone works incredibly hard to serve you honestly and thoroughly! We relocated here from Chicago and, even before our house was built, we had the pleasure of having to seek service assistance while in town. After that, we actually scheduled our construction inspections and builder meetings to coincide with our service needs so we could have Two Rivers take care of us. NONE BETTER! More

Service and Warranty work on two vehicles Steven Hess did a great job on helping with my 2017 F-150 lariat (spare key fob and lazer key made) as well as a recall. Also with our 2017 Ford Expl Steven Hess did a great job on helping with my 2017 F-150 lariat (spare key fob and lazer key made) as well as a recall. Also with our 2017 Ford Explorer getting warranty work done on a mirror. Very easy and quick service. This was great not having added stress as we are planning our wedding thats one month away now. Chuck - my Advisor - greats me by name every time I come in and they always do everything to perfection. We relocated from the Chicago Area and so we didn't even buy our Explorer from Two Rivers. Makes no difference - they treat us BETTER than family! More
