Appalling in every conceivable way! I have been calling for almost an hour and no one will answer the phone. They damaged my car on my first service visit, refused to take responsibility, and made me pay for almost an hour and no one will answer the phone. They damaged my car on my first service visit, refused to take responsibility, and made me pay almost $300 for the pleasure. EVERY SINGLE repair they have done since has failed! I was only going here for warranty coverage but I've reached the end of my patience. I'll pull my car by hand somewhere else before I go back to Twin City!!! More
This place is a joke...take your car ANYWHERE else! They fix things that don’t need to be replaced, charging you for unnecessary work; then you find out the original issue remains - plus something else. I sat inside this dealership and witnessed the owner film a commercial. He exact words were, “Here at Twin City we guarantee your purchase to be fast, east, transparent, and collaborative". My purchase was anything but these 4 things. The salesman (if you can even call him that, crook is more like it), Dennis, stated he worked there for 18 years. Asked me where I was from. Why I was purchasing a vehicle. If I had kids, so on and so forth. I told him I am a Californian native (salesman’s red flag, probably don’t know the Indiana laws to buying a car, maybe he should use common sense and inform her, but he saw it as a way to take advantage of someone in a very tight spot) and the reason for my purchase was I was in a severe accident that left my legs mangled and my car totaled. The guy even asked if I had a trade in!!! My car is totaled, sitting at JT recovery waiting for Insurance to pick it up. From the moment I told him these things, he began to care less and less about me and more and more about his commission. Any time something came up, he just kept saying we can run your credit through another bank to get you a lower down payment. I came in with a bank that I was using and refused to go somewhere else. This salesman took it upon himself to run my credit 3 separate times, without my approval. I kept telling him no, I am using my own bank. Fast forward to the purchase of the car – he could care less about my purchase. First of all, the morning that I specifically set up at 830 appointment with him, he decided to double book himself. Forcing us to sit there an extra hour while we waited for his other customers to wrap up. He never told us about double booking himself, rather I saw it up on the white board that he had two customers coming in at 830. Knowing we have a child, he could have cared a little more about my time, rather than making his commission. That Saturday night I drove my car to Indianapolis to find it is a horrible car. During my sale, Dennis was so wrapped up in making his money; he never told me here in the great state of Indiana you can take the car home over night to make sure it fits YOUR NEEDS! Sunday morning comes and I wanted to call in only to find that they are closed. Again, I am from California. Car sales are NOT illegal on Sundays. In fact, that is when dealerships sell the most cars. Monday morning rolls around, I text him before the dealer opens. I tell him that it just isn’t working out. I called with PLENTY of time before paperwork was truly filed. He put me off. Said he would call me Tuesday morning. Tuesday afternoon rolls around and I text him begging him to respond with something, because he just told me on Monday that Tuesday morning are best for him. He then pushes me back until Friday with the excuse that Monday and Tuesday are very busy days and he doesn’t have a manager in the dealer all week. At that point, paperwork had been filed and it was becoming too late. He claims he spoke to his “GM” and they would offer me over $4,000 LESS on the car I bought 6 days prior to that. Leaving me completely unsatisfied and hating my car! There are SO Many issues with it! The car was in an accident they never reported. They fixed the headlight and refused to tell me. It has alignment problems. It runs rough and the back doors are hard to open because of another accident. This is a 2017 vehicle that I paid over $20k for and they could careless how my experience was, how I like the car, or anything about me. At least when I went to the little Del Real shop on 52, he would text me to make sure the vehicle is working well and fix ANY issues I had. Save yourself the stress and go ANYWHERE but here!! These salesmen are horrible. The owner is a complete liar. They only care about your money, not you!!!!! More

Terrible Customer Service Terrible customer service from Joe Halsema the Sales Manager. I bought a 2018 Jeep Renegade and it was in the shop within the 1st week. Got the vehicle back and now the 4WD service light is on and it won't engage into 4WD. Tried giving the vehicle back or swapping into something different. I hate the fact that I bought a new 2018, spending $30,000 and it's already having major service issues. Joe's response to me is that it is now both mine and Chase's problem. He will NOT accept the vehicle back or allow me to get something different. He threatened to tow the vehicle off his lot and that I can just deal with a repossession and the destroyed credit. No wonder Twin City has a bad wrap around town. Wish I would've read the reviews before purchasing. I will never buy or refer anyone to that dealership again. Lesson learned the hard way. More

As a customer, I sincerely hope every customer can be treated with honesty and professionalism, and no one else will suffer the same trouble like this from dealer again. 1. On 08/28/2017 I did a diagnosis for my Jeep Cherokee 2014, less than 30,000 mileage. Here is the diagnosis results from the dealer: "Front right rim bent and BOT H. Tires worn uneven on inside. One TPMS sensor broken. " The dealer said my rim is seriously bent and I need to replace the rim, the tires, and the TPMS sensor. The told cost is more than $800. 2. On 09/01/2017 I ordered a rim from the dealer, which was more than $200. I received the rim on 09/07/2017. 3. On 09/07/2017 I went to a professional tire shop. I told them I want to get four new tires, and asked them to install the new rim for me. I also said I need to buy and install a new TPMS sensor. After they inspected my rims, they said they did not understand why I bought a new rim. They said there was nothing wrong with my current rims. They also told me there was nothing wrong with my TPMS sensors. They were all good and no replacement was needed. So I only changed the four tires, without changing the rim and the TPMS sensor. 4. On 09/08/2017 I don't know which one is correct, the dealer or the tire shop. So I went to another tire shop and paid them to inspect my rims and TPMS sensors again. Again, they told me all my rims and TPMS sensors were good. No replacement is needed. At this moment, I started to doubt the dealer's diagnose and suggestions. I called the dealer, and said I don't need the new rim. It was still brand new and I never used it. I asked for a return. They said they were going to charge me for $70 restocking fee. 5. On 09/11/2017 I went to the dealer, showed them the diagnose results from the other two independent tire stores. Then the dealer checked my car again. Here is the diagnose result: "Found right rear rim to have a slight bent. Not unsafe. Not necessarily to replace it. TPMS sensor is good, would need replaced if rim was replaced. " It's weird because the dealer first told me my right front rim was bent, and now he is telling me my right rear rim is bent. I'm very sure that my rims are exactly where they were because there are some markers on the rims. I also double checked this with the tire shop, who changed my four tires. They did not change the location of my rims when they change the tires. It's also weird because they first told me my TPMS sensor was broken, and now they said it is good. The dealer admitted their mis-diagnose for my car. But they did not give any reasonable explanation about this mistake. They allowed me to return the new rim I ordered. 6. Summary This is a very unhappy experience. It caused a lot of trouble for me in the past two weeks. I could not drive my car because they said my rim was bent. I spent a lot of time trying to find the right part to order because rim is expensive and is not available in most of the auto stores in Lafayette area. All this time I spent turned out to be a vain because my rims and TPMS sensors are all good. I seriously doubt the dealer's professionalism. I even doubt their honesty for asking me to order and replace expensive parts which are actually all in good condition. More

I didn't know where I stopped cause it was pitch dark over a hill in and intersection. They knew this too. They charged the battery and sold this to a handicap person who almost died on their negligence. They said we had to bring it there for them to look at. In new vehicles everything goes crazy when something wrong. We couldn't drive anywhere so my husband fixed and saved them all kinds of money and they were so rude and wouldn't even pay for parts!! Do u know how bad it sucks to be handicap it's scary every day but what u did to me is stamped in my head!! More

The car was pulled from the lot and the keys were pulled off the wall for my visit. When I arrived, the car was ready to go and the deal was just as they had told me over the phone. I had already calculated the numbers so I would know what to expect and they actually beat my numbers by $50. Thank you very much to Joseph Falter and everyone at the Twin City Pre-owned lot. This experience absolutely blew me away. 100% satisfied. Thank you very much. More
