Undercommunivated and Overcharged We brought our Lincoln MKT to Tuttle Click with a water noise sloshing when we applied the brakes on the vehicle. The service person was very pleasant We brought our Lincoln MKT to Tuttle Click with a water noise sloshing when we applied the brakes on the vehicle. The service person was very pleasant and said he thought the doors were holding rain water with a clogged drain. He said it shouldn’t be a problem to quickly get us back on the road. About 45 minutes later he came back and stated that it was water from the rains trapped in the doors and they took care of it. Then he said that it would be $150 for the time... what? Aren’t you supposed to tell the customer what you are planning to do and how much it will be BEFORE you do the work? We were shocked. We asked if there was any possible discounts and he took off $20. So $130 to fix a problem caused by faulty vehicle design that took probably 10 minutes to fix. No wonder I steer clear of this dealership for my service needs. More
First service Haven't been to this dealership before for service. Was expecting to be met at the curb with our company's new Ford Escape. There was no signage sho Haven't been to this dealership before for service. Was expecting to be met at the curb with our company's new Ford Escape. There was no signage showing what to do, so I went inside and asked a couple of people where I needed to go. Waited a short time in line where another customer complained about another issue. After his wait, before me, he was told he was in the wrong location for his service needs. Once I was helped, I was surprised to to be told this new Ford vehicle did not come with any courtesy services, as has happened with other vehicles of a different make. I was not called to be told my vehicle was ready; I called them. When I arrived, there was no signage saying where to go to pay/pick up the vehicle. Once I had paid and was waiting for the vehicle to be brought to me, it was then I was asked if I wanted it washed. Another surprise, as with other dealerships (different make) the vehicle is also washed and ready to go. This could be THIS dealership, or maybe this is the Ford standard. Anyway, next time I will go to my local mechanic instead. More
Routine oil change that should be the industry standard. I was totally satisfied with the "Express Service" (first time for me) for the oil change and routine maintenance performed on my 2017 Explorer. Paul I was totally satisfied with the "Express Service" (first time for me) for the oil change and routine maintenance performed on my 2017 Explorer. Paul was my service writer, and he is the consummate professional. The check in was fast and thorough. Paul's estimate was 1 hour to do the work, which was a pleasant surprise. I was mentally prepared to hear 1.5 hours or more, and I was looking forward to a hot bowl of chili at the Tuttle Click Cafe to take up some of my waiting time. Much to my surprise, the service crew brought my car to the exit row, with an elapsed time of 45 minutes... ready to my pick-up. Paul escorted me to the "pay" window where paperwork was ready, accurate, thorough and informative. The last most welcome and much appreciated nicety was that I had been treated to a car wash. Now THAT'S the way a dealer service department should function. Thank you, Paul Parsons, and well done, Tuttle-Click. More
