A friend of mine recommended this dealership, saying he knew manager/owner, and to call them giving his name and they would take care of me. I called, left a message, a week later, still no return call. knew manager/owner, and to call them giving his name and they would take care of me. I called, left a message, a week later, still no return call. I decided to call directly to the service dept. and the phone rang a few times until someone picked up and hung up to disconnect the call. This is very unprofessional. Business must be good. More
Tuttle Click's service department lied and told me that my Jeep's brakes were in imminent need of replacement. Given the timing of my previous service visits, this didn't make any sense. I went to a diff my Jeep's brakes were in imminent need of replacement. Given the timing of my previous service visits, this didn't make any sense. I went to a different dealer, Buerge Jeep in Los Angeles where I was living at the time, and they looked at me strangely and said there was nothing wrong with my brakes. In fact, they looked brand new. I took the Jeep to an independent mechanic who confirmed the same. Did I mention I'm a young, blond female? Even though I purchased my Jeep at Tuttle-Click, I have no intention of returning there again and I urge you to avoid it as well. More
I LOVE this dealership! I have used them for service a few times and have found them to be very friendly and courteous. My service was done in a timely manner. I have a closer dealership to my house but few times and have found them to be very friendly and courteous. My service was done in a timely manner. I have a closer dealership to my house but will continue to use this location because of the treatment I have received thus far. The employees that I have come across seem to really care about what they do. No complaints from me! More
After purchasing a new car here I sat in with the finance guy. He tried to sell me the: New car mats, new car smell, paint insurance, undercarriage spray, extended warranty, special alarm. etc. etc. etc. I w guy. He tried to sell me the: New car mats, new car smell, paint insurance, undercarriage spray, extended warranty, special alarm. etc. etc. etc. I was very polite and explained that I was not able to afford any more after spending $40,000.00 on the car. This jerk wouldn't take no for an answer! It was only after I raised my voice did he back down. The remainder of our short visit he pouted. (I thought he was going to cry). Talk about pathetic. A few weeks later I took the car in due to a manufacturing defect on a very small inexpensive piece of trim. I was astonished by the service writer "Dennis" when he himmed and hawed threatening that he was going to have to photographicaly document the damage and forward it to corporate this and that. I asked him if he was questioning my integrity (seemed that he wanted to either blame me for the defect, or attempt to wiggle out of fixing it). It was after I explained that I just spent $40,000.00 at his place of business did he seem to get it. Dropped the car off, When I came to pick it up the cashier in service simply ignored me until she was finished playing on the internet. She called someone to bring my car forward...after five minutes I asked her if I could just get it myself. She said no that SHE would go get it. That she did... after sitting in it for a full ten minutes trying to figure out the push button start a porter walked by and started it for her. Dennis said that he ordered the piece of trim. Said he would call me when it came in. I called them three weeks later asking if the part came in and they said yes, and that they would call me back to set up an appointment. I'm still waiting for the call. (hey thanks for the call Dennis)! This place is a major joke. More
Purchased a new car from them. After the purchase, I was treated with utter hostility by the salesman for no reason. Upon returning for general maintenance I discovered the whole service department has bad treated with utter hostility by the salesman for no reason. Upon returning for general maintenance I discovered the whole service department has bad attitudes toward customers. They act like they don't want to help you. The oil changes are quick, but if you want friendly service, go somewhere else. Also, if you sit in the waiting room, be detached from the workers. The place seems to carry a lot of anger or rage at the customers. You would think they would treat the people better who are giving them money! When people stop showing up, they will learn customer care. More
This dealership should not be allowed to operate as it is the home of criminal sales people and managers who are the same or lower class than con artists and less than single cell species. These people are c the home of criminal sales people and managers who are the same or lower class than con artists and less than single cell species. These people are crooks who will robb you of everything you have then claim non-responsibility. This all happens after you have signed the dotted forms. I recommend this dealership only to the family of the owners of this dealership. Who peobably also have been taken for a ride by these monsters. Good luck. Oh by the way. Don't leave any valuable in your car. It will misteriously dissapear and they will rudely blame it on you! That is true for pretty much anything negative that happens to your car..."sorry but that is your fault not ours", that is what the insignificant managers who work there for a few bucks an hour will tell you. I have had better service at a a Shell station or a Jack in the Box fast food pleace than here where you spend a whole lot of money and get zero back. More
Tuttle Click Dodge Irvine, CA 5/11/09 10:30 am. Let me Tuttle Click Dodge Irvine, CA 5/11/09 10:30 am. Let me start off by saying that this is my 3rd visit, each time getting steadily worse! I own a Spr Tuttle Click Dodge Irvine, CA 5/11/09 10:30 am. Let me start off by saying that this is my 3rd visit, each time getting steadily worse! I own a Sprinter van which can only be serviced by 5 star dealerships which limits my options as to whom I can have actually work on this particular vehicle. Typical dealership set up (1) they are your best friend when you purchase the vehicle (2) After the first service the friendliness and customer service goes away (3) after about the third time you go back in, you're wondering why you ever gave these A'holes any of your money and time to begin with!!! These guys treat you like crap the minute you walk into the service department. Each time you walk in, there are about 8 guys standing in front of their computers, some engaged in discourse with one another, others staring into their monitor's as if in a trance. I had to wait about two minutes before introducing myself and my intentions. Then I was given the "put out" treatment by asking to see a service specialist who works on the Sprinter van series. Upon setting up a service estimate, I was then directed to the cashier who treated me like it was quite a bother for her to get off her large hind quarters and get me a pager so I can be located once my vehicle was ready. Upon waiting outside in the service bay for my vehicle, I observed several atrocities that I will now mention. (1)Two of the "service team" members thought it amusing that a elderly gentleman having his car serviced, was having a hard time moving his vehicle and found it better to mock him instead of helping the guy out. (2)A "service team" member walked away from a older woman who was trying to get his attention, and then while she followed him into the service center he let the door close on her as she tried to compose herself and keep from bursting into tears. Mind you, this all happened within a course of about 50 minutes right in front of me. Class Act!!! Finally, my vehicle is ready and "Bertha" comes out from her desk to get me to pay so I can be on my way. I am paying the cashier and I ask the "lot guy" to bring the vehicle forward. He looks at me as if I spit on him, and turns right back to the cashier and engages in some secret conversation that only the two of them know about. So I pay, get my receipt, move my vehicle out of the bay with not so much a thank you, apology, or explanation. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT bring your vehicle here to service!!! These guys(Tuttle Click) still think its the "boom years" of the economy and every clown who used there house as a credit card is coming in off the street to purchase a vehicle from them. Clearly it shows in there attitude and general disdain for the customer who comes to them an expresses concern for his/ her needs about their vehicle. How dare a elderly person move to slow at their dealership. These guys are "hot s@#t, on a paper plate" they've got places to go an conversations to have among themselves. I guess if you move to slow, you'll get a door in your face. It's no wonder that Chrysler has the troubles it has with A'holes like this servicing the product. Don't take my word for it, go down there yourself and witness the majesty of the "service team" at Tuttle Click. In case you can't figure which guys i'm talking about, just go into the service bay and observe the balding, bloated, rude, condescending, "went nowhere with their lives" losers who will be glad to be of service. I will never darken this dealer's doorstep again. The sales experience was horrible. Service was worse. I went there to purchase a new car and I had dealt with a salesperson ealier in the day and he sales experience was horrible. Service was worse. I went there to purchase a new car and I had dealt with a salesperson ealier in the day and he swore to me that he would be there if I just came back to get the car that evening. Of course I got there with my wife and he was gone. The car I was buying was out front and 2 lot boys were doing short burn-outs with it in the lot. How professional. Since my wife could not come back the next day we started dealing with the another person. Boy did I feel like I was back in a 1950's car dealership. I got flipped from one person to another and ended up being there until well after closing and the lights were off. I didn't want to take delivery in the dark but like an idiot I finally agreed as they assured me that they would take care of any issues I had. The next day I found that there was now a scratch on the right front fender but when I went back to the dealer they checked the "due bill" and lo and behold "that is not mentioned here sir"! Well of course not, I couldn't see in the dark. After having to go to the store manager they finally agreed to repair it. When I picked it up it several days later looked like a 3 year old with a spray can tried to fix it. They sent it out again and it came back halfway decent, but within a short time the paint started peeling. Fortunately in an area where you only see it if you look hard so I have lived with it. I took my car back a couple of times for service but they couldn't seem to get the car done (oil change!) when they promised and then wouldn't warranty a chrome wheel that was peeling (another dealership did). I finally gave up on them. Horrible, horrible, horrible More
Did not get authorization from me for estimate of repair work. Said I had a dead battery even though I had just charged the battery the week before. Had no record of the fact that I purchased the batery work. Said I had a dead battery even though I had just charged the battery the week before. Had no record of the fact that I purchased the batery (actually 2 batteries) at that same dealership 2.5 years ago. Charged me $110 just to tell me that the windshield washer was not working due to the multifunction switch in the steering column. They wanted $495 just for the switch and another $200 to install the switch. I think I'll live without the washer spray. Charged me $556 just to replace the starter motor. Are you kidding me????? I am not easily pleased when it comes to car dealers. I have had the typical bad experiences in the past--dealers lying to me, trying to sneak things into my contract, "losing" my keys until I would agree have had the typical bad experiences in the past--dealers lying to me, trying to sneak things into my contract, "losing" my keys until I would agree to buy a car, etc. Usually, my experience is so bad just *buying* the car, I never return for any reason, not even an oil change. I have been most pleasantly surprised with Tustin Chrysler Jeep Dodge. From the moment I walked in, everything was professional. I set up the deal through carsdirect.com, so did not have to negotiate pricing (thankfully). Kevin had my car ready and waiting, my papers drawn up, everything was handled efficiently and without pressure. A month or so later, the dealer conducted a new owner's orientation, which is, of course, to get you hooked into servicing your car there. They give you free oil change coupons and dinner, so it was nice. But I did learn that in many instances, servicing my car there would be similar or very little higher than the local mechanic, so why not have a real Chrysler tech service my new car? The exception appears to be brake jobs, they are significantly higher for this job. Today, I used my free oil change coupon--my car was done in less than an hour, as promised, and they did not try to upsell me on other stuff the way Jiffy Lube does every time I have been there. Of course, my car is new :) Anyway, I recommend this dealer--they have been a pleasant surprise in an industry of shady operators. More
