Service for our F-350 We took our F-350 in for an annual service, and to investigate a slight vibration that was occurring in the front end while turning at low speeds. Kyl We took our F-350 in for an annual service, and to investigate a slight vibration that was occurring in the front end while turning at low speeds. Kyle was our service agent. He did an outstanding job of communicating the status of the technicians investigation into what was causing the vibration. In the end it was a very normal issue for this age truck that did not require a rebuild of the front differential. Kyle was completely honest about this which is so appreciated. They could have easily steered me towards a $1500 repair of the front differential that in the end was not necessary. Their honesty will make me a customer for life - these are good people! More

They even picked me up from the airport about 3 hours away. They didn't give me any hard upsell. It was a good experience. I would recommend them. The only thing I was bummed about was I didn't get to participate in the Ford raptor assault driving school. Other than that I have no complaints. More

Dr. Scott is the most with a lot of of those electronic trouble shooting brains. Cool guy! Thanks to the other mechanics who replaced my trans- & my starter motor at 200 k. Everything works great. Thanks to Macias for pointing me in the right direction. Ford fixed the diesel injector problem & as soon as I get the cash I’m plunking down 80k for an F-350 Super Duty with the 6.7 Liter Diesel & a good 4x4 package. You guys got to impress Ford about having that roll down rear window & galvanize all the steel parts ( what’s not replaced with aluminum ). Also, look into making a ladder rack made out of stainless steel so no chipped paint exposes plain carbon steel to the salt air & the rust creeps under the paint, knocks off the paint with hunks of rust & corrosion creeps into the bed of the truck or any gear stowed in the bed. Maybe a good zinc-chromate primer election statically bonded to a galvanized plain carbon steel ladder rack would be cheaper than inert gas arc welding stainless steel. But the stainless looks so pretty when it’s polished. I guess you’ll have to electrostaticly powder coat the galvanized plain carbon steel ladder rack for the most cost efficient accessory for tradesmen. Give the ladder rack some accessories like epoxy coated plywood panels to bolt on for extended weekend camping or surfaris to Mex or fishing/hunting/hiking/biking/kayak trips to the mountains for those Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day weekends everyone attaches a couple of vacation days to. Develop a photo-voltaic panel system for the roof panels you would bolt on to such a ladder rack & provide the front of the bed for some big storage batteries you are going to collect all that solar electric energy. On the long bed version of the F-250 & 350 ladder rack, you could put photo-voltaic panels in the front roof section & solar hot water heater absorption panels on the back roof section that circulates the stored hot water in an insulated tank, through the solar hot water panels powered by a DC pump powered by the storage batteries for your photo voltaic panels. Another option welded onto the “Ford Ladder Rack System” would be welded tabs or “holes drilled before galvanizing” for a tilt up wind turbine to help keep your photo-voltaic storage batteries charged. When your camping in the middle of nowhere on the cutting edge of being a frontiersman, you need “dependable Ford Tough Equipment”. This sounds a little like Madison Avenue marketing hype, but it’s true! “Ford F-250 & 350 Off-road Work Trucks for the Frontier!” You gotta LOVE it! More
Poor routine services My last trip to Tuttle Click took three trips for a simple def fill, tire rotation and oil change. Tech couldn’t find (couldn’t be bothered to find) My last trip to Tuttle Click took three trips for a simple def fill, tire rotation and oil change. Tech couldn’t find (couldn’t be bothered to find) the socket in passenger side door. I explained that on the last service the DEF was not filled. Fell on “deaf” ears as the DEF once again only filled to 50% Picked up truck day three and the engine seemed to be smoking, discovered tech never replaced oil fill cap. Significant lack of attention to detail. I know it’s tough in a robust economy but if the small stuff isn’t right how can I have confidence in their ability to preform a more involved repair? More

When we arrived at 11, they hadn’t even ordered the part that we were scheduled to have replaced. I asked when they thought we would get our car back and was told by the end of the day. We hadn’t heard anything from them all day, so I called at about 6pm to see if we could pick our car up. I was told that it was first in line to be worked on in the morning. They called about noon the next day to say it was ready. When they called, they tried to up sell me on a tranny fluid change (which Ford doesn’t recommend), a air filter change (it has a washable k&n filter in it and a cabin filter change. There was a previous recall for carbon monoxide leaks into the car that I asked about when we checked in and was told that that recall had expired! How does a safety recall expire? I asked if they could run the car through the washer and was told they don’t do that anymore. We will be taking it back to Tuttle Click Irvine from now on - they offer excellent customer service there! More
Overpriced and poor service Quoted me 5 hours to put in a $70 part. Repair took 3 hours and still charged me over $800. Robbed me and I complained with no relief. You could have washed my truck like previous times. It took too long to put rear brakes on my truck. 30 hours is too long. You seem to taking longer and longer all the time. It took too long to put rear brakes on my truck. 30 hours is too long. You seem to taking longer and longer all the time. More
