I own a 2011 Mazda CX9 Touring AWD, a couple of weeks ago the transfer case failed leaving me stranded. While I am disappointed that this happened, and Mazda roadside assistance was less than stellar - ago the transfer case failed leaving me stranded. While I am disappointed that this happened, and Mazda roadside assistance was less than stellar - I have to give recognition to Sarah in service who made an unfortunate situation much more tolerable. Her customer service was superb and her attitude was always positive and helpful. It took almost two weeks to repair my car, but the fault was not with the dealership, once they received the part from Mazda, the repair was done quickly. I felt as though Sarah did everything in her power to get my car fixed and returned to me. Ii could not give my experience five stars - because after all my 2 year old car died and left me stranded on the side of the road and it took Mazda's roadside assistance way too long to arrive (over two hours). But this is a Mazda issue and not an issue with the dealership. Sarah actually sent the cashier to pick me up and take me to work and they took care of getting the car to the dealership without me. More

The process of buying a new car was simple and very easy with the amazing help given from Tustin Mazda. After driving cross country from OH to CA, I walked into Mazda when I could hear something clanking/scraping around my rear tire area. When I arrived, I was quickly assisted by Sarah. Once the cause of the noise was diagnosed, she thoroughly explained the issue (a rusted and broken coil which she physically showed me so I understood the situation). She then went on to explain options that allowed me to break up the costs (which were hundreds of dollars), and promptly secured a convenient on-site rental while the car would be in the shop. What was wonderful was that: 1. She was knowledgeable and professional and didn't talk down to me like some service guys tend to do 2. She gave me options to make things more affordable 3. She called with updates...and when the part was delayed (leading to another 1/2 day of rental), she made sure that I didn't pay additional fees due to their timing issues. 4. She looked for a coupon for me, had the car washed, the oil changed, AND worked out a SMOG check with their local provider at the corporate rate. Get this - the guy picked it up, did the inspection, and dropped off the paperwork before I came to even get the car. I just dropped off the check for the SMOG fees when I picked up the car! 5. She took the time to check on my servicing history & help me understand that the work I had done took care of some of the pricey upcoming service needs. Offsetting those costs made the unexpected repairs easier to bear... Overall, I would say that I've experienced INCREDIBLE customer service at Mazda - both in Ohio where I had my car for 3.5 years, and now in LA. Sarah at Tustin impressed me so much that I'm actually taking the time to write this review online. I look forward to working with her and the Tustin dealership again. More

Sara in service was friendly and very helpful. I'm nost pleased with the work of mechanic Daniel Lim. I had been through other shops trying to fix ongoing issues with my Miata with no luck. He obviously has a love for these types of cars and insight into it's quirks and issues. He went above and beyond what I expected taking care of other issues he noticed along the way. He is one of those mechanics who cares about doing a good job it's not about the money. I can't recommend him enough he knows his stuff and you can expect nothing but the best for your car. Very pleased will come here for all my needs from now on. I drive 40 minutes to get here but worth it. More

I have enjoyed owning my Mazda3 for three years now, and I am so very pleased with the on-going customer service that I have received from the Tustin Mazda dealership. I have diligently taken my car in for routine maintanence and the service department has always been extremely kind and courteous and continues to offer expediant service. As a young thirty-something woman, I am often afraid that mechanics will look at me as a perfect person to take advantage of, but this particular crew always makes me feel extremely comfortable and is never pushy or condescending. In a recent vist, Ruben Lopez, went above and beyond to get me two new front tires which were covered under my extended warranty. I would never have known that I had this option, and he was willing to go the extra distance to get new tires at no cost to me! I walked out of there with two new front tires and an oil change for little over $40!! This is not the first time I have received excellent service...and I'm certain it will not be the last! Thank you so much for such fantastic customer care! More

Ruben is the Service Manager. He is pleasant, professional, and follows-up when he says he will. He tries to get you your car out of service as quickly as he can, and calls to confirm when he do professional, and follows-up when he says he will. This way I could leave, right after I paid my bill. The new Tustin Mazda place is soooooooo much better than the old building they had down the street. It is clean and large. It gives the impression that there is a professional service here. It makes one want to place value and trust in this institution as a result. Very nice service all around. Even the billing woman was friendly and understood her job well. She gave me the papers to sign as though she knew exactly what she was doing and why. There were people reading newspapers and watching TV in the waiting room area, as they were waiting for their cars. It was a nice clean room. Such an improvement from the old building. Due to some issues at home, I had to reschedule a service appointment four times! I felt horrible. However, both Mick and Gary were very gracious and accommodating each time (as usual) and worked with me wit appointment four times! I felt horrible. I have to pass by two other Mazda dealerships to get to Tustin Mazda and often wait there at the location for my service to be completed. I could just go to the Mazda dealership five minutes from my home, but they do not come close when it comes to true service, accountability and overall satisfaction. I know this because I have had experiences at both the other Mazda dealerships. I am buying an additional car from Tustin currently and will still make the longer drive for the service and care I have become used to at Tustin Mazda. Matt Cuevas More

He keeps you updated on the status while the car is being serviced (whether you are waiting or left the car), explains your options and always has the car washed. He knows you by name when you walk in the door, he can answer any question or get the information if its not at his fingertips. He treats everyone like you are his friend. His is honest and trustworthy and I, too, drive out of my way to have my car serviced at this dealer. I have asked the owner to transfer Nick to the Huntington Beach store which would be much closer but it hasn't happened yet! The extra miles I drive is worth the top notch service from Nicholas. We bought our car from another dealer and HATE returning there even for the FREE oil changes that were part of the "deal" when we bought it. So sorry we didn't buy from Tustin Mazda but were anxious to get the car that was sitting on another dealer's lot. More
