Tustin Mazda

I've been car shopping for 2 weeks before coming to Tustin Mazda. All other dealers I went to either didn't have the car I was looking for or they just couldn't give me the best deal. I looked at Honda Tustin Mazda. All other dealers I went to either didn't have the car I was looking for or they just couldn't give me the best deal. I looked at Honda and Toyota. I was also interested in the Mazda 3, so I requested a quote to a number of delerships through Edmunds.com. Tustin didn't come up, but their sister dealership at Huntington Beach was. The next day, I got a call from H.B. Mazda and told them I would like to go to Tustin. The guy told me that he will call them for me to give me a call. A few minutes later, Jimmy called to make a an appointment to come for a test drive. When I got there, my sister, brother-in-law and I were met by Kevin. I told him that I was there to meet Jimmy or Jeff. Neither were available at that moment, so, Kevin helped us out. He showed us all the Mazda 3's they had, all the available colors and even gave us water. We took an i-Sport out on a test drive. Kevin answered all my questions about the car, all about the special deals going on, and how the car compared to other competitors. He was very patient with us. He didn't try to pressure us in making a deal that same day. The sticker price of the i-Sport was very good already and way better than the Civic and Corolla, so I decided to go ahead and start the dealing process. Throughout the process, Kevin made us feel so relaxed and chill. Unlike other sales reps, he didn't pressure us or try to kick us out even when the deal came to a short impasse. (Yes, that actually happened to me a few days ago.) He even went as far as showing us the invoice price and the dealer holdback. He even explained to us about how the economy had affected car sales. After a quick hour or so, I was confident that we had the best deal out there. We came to an agreement that I would return the next night to pay and sign all the paperwork. I wasn't able to go the next day because of work. During the 3 nights of thinking about the car, I decided to go with the i-Touring. Kevin gave me a call this morning to confirm my appointment. During this call, I mentioned to him about changing the car and he assured me that it was "cool" and that he would get the car and paperwork ready for me. He also gave a deal right over the phone. I thought that was pretty cool of him to do that. Not many dealerships would do that. Feeling confident about the deal, I accepted it. Upon arriving at the dealership, Kevin greeted me as if I was a "homie". Another cool thing for him to do. I threw a second curveball at him and told him that I will finance the car instead. Again, no problem. I then met Lori to take care of the paperwork and payment. She was great in explaining all of the extra options available for my car. She answered all my questions no matter how stupid some were. When it came down to the financing part, I was so surprised with the great rate she gave me. I never expected this because I was a first time buyer and my credit score was only good. Other places gave me all this nonsense about my credit history in order to justify their high rates. During the signing part, we ended up having a conversation about my first name. That was pretty funny. She never even asked about my form of payment until I asked about it. After everything was said and done, it was like a mother letting a child go live life out in the real world. Kevin then escorted me to my new car and showed me how to work everything. He even paired up my cellphone with the car's bluetooth handsfree calling feature. After one last firm handshake, I was off in my new Mazda 3 i-Touring. Overall, I have to say Tustin Mazda was the greatest. Kevin was super cool and Lori was very sweet. Although I never met Jimmy, he was cool on the phone also. I can't say enough about Tustin Mazda, Kevin and Lori. I will definitely recommend Tustin Mazda to everyone I know who's buying a new or even used car. I came here to test-drive a Mazda3 and I ended up buying. Ozzy and Jose were great at showing me the car and Ozzy really went out of his way to get me the trade-in value I wanted for my old car and the color Ozzy and Jose were great at showing me the car and Ozzy really went out of his way to get me the trade-in value I wanted for my old car and the color of the new car I wanted (which required him to pull it from another dealer). The previous dealer actually left an aftermarket alarm in the car, which was causing some problems, but Tustin Mazda had no problem paying for it to be removed. Overall a great experience!
