We are a return customer. We have owned three hyundai automobiles and currently own two - a 2007 Sonata and 2005 Tuscon. We have been very pleased with the Service Department, in particular Mark Rodelo, automobiles and currently own two - a 2007 Sonata and 2005 Tuscon. We have been very pleased with the Service Department, in particular Mark Rodelo, who makes are service visit very pleasant. He is diligent about obtaining quality of service and the best cost for us. We are very satisfied customers and I would definitely recommend OC Tustin Hyundai to anyone looking for a Hyundai. I have consistently received the highest quality service from Tustin Hyundai. All the employees I have met there have gone out of their way to provide excellent, timely work and customer service. The last time I took my car for service provides an example of great customer service. I mistakenly left my portfolio, someone turned it in, and Mark Rodelo found my card in it and called me. I had already returned to Redondo Beach where I now live, and because there was an endorsed check in the portfolio Mark took care to store it in the safe until I could return to pick it up. That extra care and effort on his part means a lot to me as a customer. Lynda Nelson also went "beyond the call" in helping me with a serious problem. After I moved, Hyundai Finance apparently entered my new home address incorrectly in the billing system. Hence I did not receive my May statement. I was in the midst of a rushed, difficult move, and without the statement as a reminder I missed my May payment without realizing it. Hyundai Finance began a barrage of calls to me, each time requiring that I enter my birth date and last four digits of my SSN for the call to go through. I did not know if the call was legitimate, and without exposing myself to potential identity theft I could not find out why I was repeatedly being called. I was very frustrated by the calls (several times a day) and finally contacted Lynda. She said Hyundai does not make those types of calls and gave me another contact number. By calling that number I was fnally able to find out the cause of all the harassing calls, and was told I would be sent another payment slip to return with my May payment. I NEVER RECEIVED THE PAYMENT SLIP. Nonetheless I sent my May and early June payment together with a letter explaining what had happened. I copied John Krafcik and Ron Haughey on the letter. I DID NOT EVEN RECEIVE THE COURTESY OF A RESPONSE FROM HYUNDAI USA. AFTER THIS ORDEAL, AND THE COMPLETE ABSENCE OF A RESPONSE FROM HYUNDAI, I DO NOT EVER PLAN TO BUY ANOTHER HYUNDAI. I ALSO CONTINUE TO TELL AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE ABOUT MY VERY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE WITH HYUNDAI FINANCE. Forgetting to send the May payment was a mistake on my part, for which I am sorry. Nonetheless, it was the data entry error on the part of Hyundai Finance that was the original cause for the mistake. The way I was treated by Hyundai Finance, AND PARTICULARLY THE LACK OF ANY RESPONSE FROM HYUNDAI USA, HAS LEFT ME WITH A VERY NEGATIVE PERCEPTION OF THE COMPANY OVERALL. More
I was having a problem with my windshield washers not working properly. I called ahead to make an appointment with Mark Rodelo. I came in, and my problem was taken care of within 25 - 30 minutes! I love the fact that he has my car washed for me every visit before it is released back to me - no matter if I'm having warranty work or paid repairs/maintenance work done. What great service! I was able to bring in both of my Hundai on the same day for service and waited only 1 hour for both cars to be serviced - wonderful. Everyone is nice and friendly. My Tucson was due for its service. I purchased my car at this dealership and always bring it in when it is time for a check-up. Most often I phone ahead to let the service dept - namely Trina - know that I this dealership and always bring it in when it is time for a check-up. Most often I phone ahead to let the service dept - namely Trina - know that I am coming in. When I arrive - she greets me with a hearty welcome and then we go over what needs to be taken care of. She gives me an estimated time it will be done as well as an estimated cost and the reasons for it. I cannot remember a time that it has been more than the estimate. And the work done is always quality work and professionally taken care of. I trust their judgment. Most often I wait on the premises, and the waiting area is clean and comfortable. There is a coffee machine and there is wi - fi so that I can tend to my personal needs as necessary. The time passes quickly in these surroundings. When the job is complete Trina calls me by name and explains what has been done and I settle the account and go outside to my clean car. I like the complimentary car wash. I am not aware of another dealership where the customers are so satisfied. More
