Satisfactory service, with some quirks I will describe my recent visit, although I have been bringing my Hyundai vehicles to Tustin dealiship for about 3 years. This time I brought my 3 I will describe my recent visit, although I have been bringing my Hyundai vehicles to Tustin dealiship for about 3 years. This time I brought my 3 months old 2019 Santa Fe 2.0T Limited with a warranty concern of "car has no internet connection, thus bluelink doesn't work". Santa Fe spent overall 12 days at the dealership, first antenna was tested, wiring and finally head unit was replaced with new one. When I was taking the car back, I noticed a small piece of plastic laying on passenger seat and decided to inspect trim parts which were taken off to get to the antenna and head unit. Glovebox cover had very noticeable scratches from plastic levers, panel behind head unit screen was cracked! Tailgate weatherstrip had cracks, ceiling fabric cover was dirty of the black glue used to hold the rubber strip. Mechanic came in with the phase "ah, you are this type of customer", so I guess it's a common practice to brake stuff and think no one would notice? Kudos to service advisor who was not denying evident damage and was willing to resolve my concerns. As a result, 4 plastic trim pieces and a weatherstrip were replaced. I hope there is no hidden damage. Negative: - unprofessional technician. I wish a mechanic would care about a vehicle as if it was his own. - loaners only for Genesis. I had to deal with Enterprise, who do not have comparable vehicles, base Tucson with dirty interior was the only option. - I was not updated frequently enough about status of the repair. The car was promised to be returned on Monday, when I called Monday afternoon, no one knew what was going on with car and when it's going to be ready, I was finally told that the car would be ready on Tuesday. Positive: + initial concern resolved, bluelink works as expected + service advisor was helpful Overall, I would rate Tustin Hyundai higher, however this repair revealed some serious thoughts if I should continue coming here. Other things to consider: - Oil service visits. Even though I always ask to pay attention - techs always overfill liquids. I know that many old GDI cars consume oil, overfilling would not solve this. - I wish there would be a return shuttle service. More

Horrible Customer Service Took my car here because it was closer to home, but not the dealer I purchased from. No loaners available unless your a Genesis owner. Crammed 5 people into a Sonata (yet they have 7 passenger Santa Fe's). They didn't tell me there was no return shuttle and didn't tell me my car was done until 5:18 pm and, oh, by the way, they close at 6:00 and I now have to scramble to find a way to get there to pick up my vehicle. I called back and found out I could pay in advance and they'd leave the keys with the receptionist, but when I got there, no key. And no car wash. SERIOUSLY!! Will never return here again. Other dealer provides a loaner vehicle, is open until 7:00 pm and washes my car for me. Get a Clue Patterson!!! More

Tustin Hyundai, please learn from Costco Tire Center. 9;45 AM service appointment on Wednesday for an oil change and service the battery. Arrived at 9:30 AM at the service desk. Surprisingly I was tol 9;45 AM service appointment on Wednesday for an oil change and service the battery. Arrived at 9:30 AM at the service desk. Surprisingly I was told 2 to 3 hours for battery diagnostic and an oil change. Since no one call back, I called around 12:30 PM to find out that battery needs to be replaced and oil change will be done within an hour. An oil change and battery service take more than 4 hours! This is not a first time they don't care about my appointment. Their appointment system is poorly managed and not required. I think when you show up at the service without an appointment will get you out faster. Or go somewhere else who can honor your appointment. Appointment means you will be served in specific time that you arranged. Ask them about their definition of "Appointment"! More
