I was looking for a 2024 white 4Runner. I found one at Tuscaloosa Toyota. I filled out form and immediately was contacted by David DeSantis, General Manager. I was working with Michael from out of state. He was prompt in answering any questions or concerns I had. After purchasing the vehicle Michael and David both reached out to me to let me know they appreciated my business and if I had any questions. That is something that I have never had happen in purchasing a vehicle. Michael Baltins and the staff were very courteous and professional in dealing with. Michael was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and took time in familiarizing me with the features. Thank you Michael and Tuscaloosa Toyota for a great experience. More
Great experience working with Taylor Phaturos and Shawn Simpson. They did what they said they were going to do and I felt taken care of. There were a couple of times during the process where additional information was needed and they followed up like they said they would. Couldn’t be happier with the experience. Very poor service, carvana said my truck was worth almost 10,000 more than what they offered and they wouldn’t budge, they never really tried helping me find a vehicle, plus the gentleman who test drove my t 10,000 more than what they offered and they wouldn’t budge, they never really tried helping me find a vehicle, plus the gentleman who test drove my truck and offered a price, was very unprofessional, not to mention he rolled his eyes at me a few times. He mostly acted like he didn’t have the time of day to talk to me.. They never called me when they got inventory in or anything. I tried working with them for 2 weeks.. The gentleman that was in financing, was just as rude, and also rolled his eyes at me.. Brung my father in the next day and everyone’s attitude changed. ended up getting a Ford Mustang 5.0 from Tuscaloosa Ford, tested it in one day and left the lot within 2 hours with a nice brand new car .. so thanks Tuscaloosa Toyota for not wanting my business I won’t be back.. Our Toyota Highlander stopped working while traveling through Tuscaloosa. We found the service department to be extremely friendly and helpful. Terrible customer service. Do NOT shop here. Took my vehicle in to see what the trade in value was, the salesman drove and I rode around the block with him to test drive the vehicle and then they took m vehicle in to see what the trade in value was, the salesman drove and I rode around the block with him to test drive the vehicle and then they took me into a back office. While in the back office, multiple people drove my vehicle without permission. The onStar and insurance company track all of my driving stats. I could see where they put a hard acceleration on my driving record which increases the cost of my insurance, wastes my gas, and tears up the vehicle. I asked for a simple reimbursement of $100 for the costs which the damage could easily be more than that if they tore something up in the engine or transmission. The manager was uninterested in resolving the issue and rude. When I got back to my truck, my belongings in the console where all moved around like someone was looking for something to steal or something similar. The offer they gave me on the trade in value was super low and basically a rip off. I would suggest not doing business here. A simple ballpark trade in value can be easily obtained without multiple people driving the vehicle and especially driving it without permission, driving it like it is a race car up and down the block, and shuttling multiple people in and out of it in the middle of the Covid pandemic like it is an amusement ride. More
Go to Birmingham. Anywhere in Tuscaloosa refuses to do any kind of good deal. They have a set price and numbers and do not try to work any kind of numbers at all no matter how good your credit is. I gave five stars to my service agent, Jeremy Beck. He was excellent. He patiently explained what needed to be done and when I received my car back it drove like a dream. I have had the worst service experience from Tuscaloosa service department ever! To the point that I’ve had my son to purchase a Nissan. I’m at the the point of trading my 2018 RAV4 in on a Honda.
