On Friday we purchased a new Dodge Durango Cital and about 6 months ago we purchased a 2011 Dodge 3500 Laramie from Locklear because of Kirk James. If it wasn't for him, we would have gone to Birmingha about 6 months ago we purchased a 2011 Dodge 3500 Laramie from Locklear because of Kirk James. If it wasn't for him, we would have gone to Birmingham to purchase our vehicles. He is very hard working, understanding and really cares about the customers needs and wants. He will go above and beyond his duties to make sure you are happy with your car buying experience. I personally hate to buy cars and stressed that fact to Kirk. He definately has made our last 2 purchases pleasing and will go to Kirk again for our next visit. If your going to Locklear, ask for Kirk James, you will not regret it!! More

My husband and I do most all of our "car trading" online. I search for the vehicle and best price and usually we will fly just about anywhere to get exactly what we want. This time though I found what I was looking for right here in Tuscaloosa, so I made the decision to stop by Locklear and take a look at the car. Mr. Keeton met me outside and after a brief talk, he handed me his card and polietly walked away. On Saturday of the same week, I went back to drive the car. I asked for Mr. Keeton specifically, drove the car and was back in the office crunching numbers shortly after. He was up front with me from the start, made me and my aunt feel welcome and even made a way for me to run an errand and still come back to finish the deal. He never made me feel like I was being rushed or pushed at all. He told me what he could offer me, what he could throw in and if he didnt know the answer to a question I asked, he just admitted he didnt know and went and found out. He turned me over to Jason Eaves for all the paperwork and by that evening I traded my truck in on my grabber blue mustand GT and was excited leaving the dealership. Mr. Eaves was also very professional with me,and went over everything. I truly did not expect to be trading my truck and purchasing the car the day I walked in, but am very pleased with the way things were handled. I met some great people, learned some new phrases and almost had a conversation piece to take home (oil wrench) with me. Not really but it was fun joking about it with Mr. Keeton!! I had things in my truck that I couldn't take with me the day I traded cars and my husband was able to go back on Monday to get them with no problems. I thoroughly appreciate the way I was treated as well as the professionalism of the sale. Thank you! More

I was looking for a Dodge Challenger equiped a certain way. Seems like other people wanted this similiar R/T because it was hard to find. I drove 2 hours and within a couple of hours I had the car I was looking for at a great price and they gave me a great trade in amount. Wayne Keaton was my salesman when I arrived, awesome salesman, he said he had only been there 3 months, I couldn't tell, he was excellent at his job as if he had been there a long time. I went to other dealers and they either didn't have the vehicle I requested or they didn't know the product but Locklear was excellent and I will return if I ever need another car. Our overall experience was great! Of course I couldn't give a great on the price just because free would have been GREAT! I would suggest friend or foe to check out Locklear for your next vehicle! Be sure and ask for Wayne Keeton. He is a great guy who truly is concerned with your comfort about the whole process. (We had never owned a Dodge, EVER!) We went just to look and it was late in the day. Wayne and several others were very patient and friendly. Everyone walked us through the process with awesome attitudes! Jason Eaves, Finance Manager, was great as well! We had a great time! More

After finding a used car being sold by Locklear on eBay, I drove from out of state to purchase the vehicle. The day of purchase went great and everything was very smooth. The salesmen pushed me for every dollar they could get, but a fair price was agreed to and I drove away happy. Upon arriving home, I noticed that my temporary tag had blown off the car on my 250 mile drive home. I also found that one of the tail lights was out. I contacted my salesman immediately to discuss the minor problems. They agreed to reimburse me for the tail light at the price that their service department would charge to make the repair. My salesman, Scott, was very apologetic and insisted this "matter of principle" would be taken care of immediately. It's been 12 weeks since I purchased the car. I have emailed and called Scott numerous times and he tells me that my reimursement will be taken care of right away. I've yet to recieve any kind of payment for the tail light replacement. Fair warning, the salesman at Locklear are very good at their jobs. They know how to sell cars. But once the car is off the lot, they will forget you. More
