The salesperson was friendly and very knowledgable about the auto and its features. They didn't have the color we wanted or the options so they serched for one and found it in North Alabama. We made the deal and they were going to talk to the dealership where it was located on Monday to see if it was available. They called me on Monday and it was available but the dealership had made some add's to the car that we did not want. They quickly begin serching for another and found it in Georgia. They sent some one for it and had it the next day. We came the next day to pick it up and they had everything ready for us. The finance manager had the paper work changed to the new vehicle and ready to sign. They introduced us to the service manager and everyone was very helpfull. It was raining when we picked it up so you couldn't see the painted surface very good to look for any scratches. After we got home I washed the car from where it had rained and found a couple of scratches on it. I called the salesperson and he set a time for me to bring it back in. The body shop was ready when I got there and did a great job of touching it up. I was very pleased with the service and the extended help of the salesperson. More

I drove the sorano and was pleased but not in love. I then drove the optima and before pulling out of the drive I was in love! He was right!! He was so friendly and made sure I understood everything to expect and took very good care of me! I will definitely recommend others to locklear!!! 5 stars!! More
My husband and I bought a 2009 Mercury from Locklear. We were very pleased with the dealership and our salesman,Keith Vandiver. They are dishonest and will rip you off. They will rip off anyone to make money. They bait you and then charge fees for things you did not ask them to do. If you have a college age child that takes their vehicle in for service, they will take you for everything they can. Update 6/4/2012: I had to have the vehicle towed from this dealership to not void the warranty. Mr. Stevens threatened to report the vehicle to Chrysler if it was driven. I then had the vehicle carried on a trailer to my local Jeep dealership. They checked the vehicle for three days and found no problems. Locklear was about to work on an engine that needed no work and then would have charged me for the labor. It is shameful that they would engage in such behavior. This dealership's service department saw a college boy with a credit card. More

I visited Locklear on a Monday, just wanting to 'look' around, but after meeting the staff and receiving the level of customer service I received, I ended up buying an Town & Country from them that day. John Martin was very informative about the vehicle, all the specifications, the warranty; every question I had, he had the answer. That is very important when making such a large purchase...you want to know as much as possible before making a decision! The service I received was second to none, not only from the salesmen helping me, but every other employee I encountered was courteous. I left feeling like I had received a more than fair deal on my new Town & Country, which did not leave me feeling any regrets, and that was a good feeling! John was very nice and very personable, we talked about our families while waiting and really got to like him as a person, not just a salesperson. I was very pleased with the overall experience, which was a welcome surprise. The last time I purchased a vehicle I was frustrated, and very annoyed by many the dealerships I visited prior to Locklear Thank you to each and everyone I encounter.
