Good service engagement Scheduled a routine oil change, tire rotation. In addition, we had a recall for the steering dampener and an issue with the auto start warning light. Scheduled a routine oil change, tire rotation. In addition, we had a recall for the steering dampener and an issue with the auto start warning light. Thoroughly and utterly disappointed and disgusted. AVOID. I own a 2010 Dodge Charger R/T ( original owner AND own it outright). I wish I had asked around at work before I gave this dealer's service department I own a 2010 Dodge Charger R/T ( original owner AND own it outright). I wish I had asked around at work before I gave this dealer's service department an ounce of my time or $845.78 of my hard earned, proud union member cash. I would have found that a fellow co worker had recently purchased a new Ram from this dealer and he had "the worst experience ever with the salespeople at 'that' dealership". And a few choice words that I will leave out. Now this is a guy who has some toys, so I'm kicking myself now for not asking around, beforehand. Also I ignored negative reviews on google+/maps. I brought my car in initially for trouble I was having with my power windows, and my engine light was on. I also needed an oil change and a tire rotation. ( I purchased and had the vehicle serviced at Lilliston Dodge in Millville, but it was already a considerable distance (22 miles vs 2.5 miles one way) and I had moved further away, but they were probably the best dealer and service people I ever dealt with) Since many Dodge dealerships had closed over the past few years , I was happy to find a newer dealership local to me. The service man Joe Gresh informed me I had two recalls, timing chain and d/s airbag inflator. I dropped the car off on Friday morning (I had to take the day off) and they called me to pick the car up near close of business Sat (the next day) In the interim I was told the window was the switch then it wasn't then it was the module. The engine light was caused by the thermostat allegedly, (allegedly because only two months later the engine light is back on) I was told that all work was done but I may need some further front end work ( if you know dodge sedans , you know they are known for chronically worn out tierods, ball joints and torsion struts, our deplorable roads don't help) I was also told the auto up down wouldn't work but I was ok with that as long as my windows rolled up and down. I checked everything but as I got closer to home I realized the driver side rear wasn't rolling up. I called the dealer back and was told to bring it back in the following week. I brought it back and then they wanted more $$$ for a "master switch" after I had spent $447+ tax for them to fix the original problem. I tried to resolve this with Joe who, did not return my calls. He wasn't in, he was off, he was with another customer. This after when you call you can wait in hold a long time before the personality-less receptionist picks up the phone . "Chris"was an indifferent service person I reached whom didn't seem to care and then Scott whom I found was the service manager, offered to install the switch w/o charging me for the labor. So I'd still be out another $230+. I brought it back after Scott said he would "work with me" but that was a ploy to get me back. They still wanted more money! They had already made PLENTY of money off the recalls they fixed, I reasoned. I decided to come back and pick up my car, I refuse to pay for something you told me was all fixed when I paid and picked the car up. Scott and Chris talk tough over the phone but in person, not so much. I left with my rear driver side window still inoperable and now, engine light back on. I refuse to go back there, and I had looked at a few trucks when I had visited. Needless to say, they will NEVER get any of my money and I hope when and if they read this, don't copy and paste your responses to other complaints on this site . At the least, try to come up with something that appears thought out. Oh wait, that would be impossible for this place. EXCUSES and LIES are what you get when you try to support local businesses and buy and drive "American". No wonder the imports are killing us. If I could give this place no stars I would. Hope that $845.78 was worth it. More
