I cosigned a car for my daughter. They messed up my social security number and when they asked me to fix it they said it did not matter what the last digit was. I said that's ridiculous and not true. They assured me my credit would be ran once. They actually ran it 3 times for hard inquires. Dropped my credit score. The salesman Mitch told us 5 minutes for paperwork it took 2 hours and he disappeared not giving us an update. I was having major surgery in 2 days I was in allot of pain. They were aware and still took their good old time. They assumed my daughter had a down payment without asking her. Another salesman yelled at me after I yelled for Mitch he had 5 minutes to get it done after sitting for an hour and a half. They called my daughter and told her I needed to take a picture of my driver's license and send it to them. My husband called and told Mitch I am laid up in bed for 6 to 10 weeks He hing up on my husband. They offered to drive to my house to get a copy. My husband explained they are so untrustworthy we would not do that. Jeff explained to my husband he heard about our situation after we left. Did we get a phone call apologizing? Nope nothing until they needed something from me. The whole experience was lies and deceit and it was awful. I will never go or recommend this car dealership ever. If it wasn't for my daughter having her heart set on the car I would have left. We have told all our friends about our experience. They were in awe and shock over what was done to us. They also will not be going to Turner Kia. My daughter just found out her registration is messed up. It is still showing her trade in car. So when will this nightmare end. More
From the beginning my family had a bad incling about turner kia being told from many sources not to go there. I had my heart set on a kia soul and people I trust and love were very reassuring. My father turner kia being told from many sources not to go there. I had my heart set on a kia soul and people I trust and love were very reassuring. My father even talked to the GM of this place and said he's heard bad things. His response was "I've been here 8 years and haven't heard that." He definitely ate those words. My friend who had spoken with Sarah (sales rep) previously was to be who we worked with. Instead the GM handed us over to Mitchel. Not that this is any of mitch's fault but unfortunately the experience came with him being the sales rep for us. We test drove the car and I was told not one thing about the features, settings, what's good about the car. Nothing. I got out feeling confused as to what I was even wanting to buy. Multiple times they tried to low ball me on my trade in, had us sit for over 2 hours waiting on paperwork. They messed up my mother's SSN and had to redo said paperwork. My mother who was two days away from neck surgery was in lots of pain, finally lost her patience and yelled to our sales rep to hurry or we were walking. Another man stepped in front and yelled back to my mother. The whole thing was unpleasant, unprofessional, and humiliating on their part. If it weren't for the Soul being my dream car along with knowing people close to the turner family we would've all walked out. I will never tell people to buy from them nor will I ever buy from them again. I, along with a good portion of my family members, will be letting everyone we know about our horrible experience. And to think this happened being close to people who work for them. That's how they treat friends and family, imagine how they'll treat strangers. More
Recently bought a 2023 Forte GT Line for my daughter after searching both new and used vehicles for several months. As I am loyal to another car brand and loyal (very loyal) to another dealership, I fig after searching both new and used vehicles for several months. As I am loyal to another car brand and loyal (very loyal) to another dealership, I figured I would just stop in and see what a forte looked like. I wanted an LXS but as with all cars good luck in finding what you were searching for! First impression was set when a sales person actually walked out to great me in the lot. This is simple and basic but seldom the case these days. They actually had a Forte but a model with way more features than I was looking for. Sarah my Salesperson offered to let me drive it but I declined and said I was just looking for some rough numbers and I would come back in the evening with my daughter. Two hours and thirty minutes later we were back and an hour and fifteen minutes later we were walking out the door as proud new owners of our first Kia! Never thought I would say that! Sarah was amazing to deal with. I’m in sales and it is tough not to talk all the time. Telling isn’t selling but, Sarah actually listened to what we wanted. I am one of those people that enjoys the typical car buying process because I’m always up for a good fight. The relaxed atmosphere actually took that guilty pleasure away from me. Not once was I told “That is just not the way cars are bought and sold anymore”. Mike Johnson the GM came over to put the final polish on the deal and he was absolutely great as well. The follow up to make sure I brought all the right stuff to take possession was amazing. Best part is it was over text messaging! Even complete with LOLs and OMGs. We set an appointment and the finance guy is running behind schedule. I hate that! My time is valuable after all. Finally I have a reason to fight right? I can’t remember his name because I have no interest in learning the names of people I’m getting ready to murder. But, alas… this guy was awesome as well! Funny, down to earth and a fellow Veteran. Car is perfect, way more than we wanted and imho way more than we had to pay for. Process was transparent and Sarah showed my daughter how to use all the crap I would turn off on the car. Everything I have ever bought I paid too much for and everything I ever sold, I sold too cheap. I’m not easily impressed but the Turner Kia team managed to do just that in my eyes. Time will tell if the car holds up. I suspect it will but, we will see. Look out service department you have a tough act to follow because your Sales team hit a home run with me! Do yourself a favor and check these folks out. More
This experience was top notch from when I called into receptionist, making appointments for multiple vehicles, dropping off, waiting/working in lounge, to the review of work performed by Scott. receptionist, making appointments for multiple vehicles, dropping off, waiting/working in lounge, to the review of work performed by Scott.
